Thoughts: Wow that's one way to start a book lol. The first sentence of this book threw me for a loop until I kept reading. I love Cap. He seems so sweet. He's like the grandpa everyone wants. I also love how morbid he is. It's funny to me. I love that Miles bought a blanket for a homeless man. That was so sweet of him. The flashback chapters of Miles and Rachel are kinda depressing. I feel bad for them. I like this book so far. I'm 143 pages in so i'm not totally hooked but i'm getting there. I wanna know why Miles is so guarded. I'm so curious and scared to find out. Miles and Tate's arrangement is so confusing to me. I don't think I could ever have casual sex with someone i'm that attracted to. I'm 228 pages into this book and i'm in love. I think it's so cute that Tate considers Cap her best friend. Holy shit chapter 32 was intense. It made my heart hurt so much. Now the cover of the book makes sense to me. Chapter 37 is heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time. Oh my god I love the ending of this book so much. I'm so glad Miles let himself be happy again. He deserved it.
I love this book so much. I 100% recommend it.
