Thoughts: I've only read one chapter of this book and i'm already so confused. I have a feeling this book is gonna be very weird. The chapters of this book are sooo long. I hate it. This book is weird as fuck. I don't know if I like it. It's so confusing to me. I find it so weird that Merit is obsessed with her sisters boyfriend. I hope this book gets better soon. The mom's situation reminds me of Shelia from Shameless. I kind of feel bad for the mom but I also feel bad for the kids. It has to be hard living in the same house as your mom but it feels like she's not around. I don't think I like Luck very much. I'm not totally sure yet. I'm struggling with this book. Unfortunately I don't like it very much. Wow I wasn't expecting all that stuff about Utah. That was a bit intense. This is my least favorite Colleen Hoover book i've read so far and that disappoints me. I'm 100 pages from the end of this book and i'm still confused. I don't really understand the point of this book. This family is fucked up. It's so weird. I like the ending of this book. I'm glad they all finally worked through their shit. I was very correct in my assumption that this book was gonna be weird as hell. It's not the worst book i've ever read but it's definitely not the best.
I'm disappointed that I didn't like this book that much. It was decent but it was too confusing to me in the beginning and the chapters were too long in my opinion. I would recommend it if you like books about family drama and family issues.
