Everyone was sleeping on the floor in their sleeping bags, it was like a giant mixed up slumber party with how many characters there were.

Caine teleported into the center with a giant rooster, an alarm clock, and pots. Without any hesitation, he made the rooster scream, the alarm clock rang, and he was beating the pots against each other.

Bubble was there too, but they weren't doing much.

Caine: "WAKEY WAKEY, EVERYONE! IT'S TIME FOR ANOTHER DAY OF MUNDANE ADVENTURE!!!!" He shouted as he was being extremely loud.

Batman: "UGH." He grunted, rolling around in his sleeping bag, which was simply his cape.

Caine: "WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" He continued to annoy everyone until they were awake.

Eventually, after hours of non stop nonsense and metal clanking against each other, EVERYONE was finally awake. Admittedly, a little grumpy.

Homelander: He looked extremely tired, wearing white and blue stripped pajamas "Why on EARTH-- Or wherever this place is... Would you DO THAT?!"

Caine: "Listen up! We're on a not so tight schedule right now so basically..." He took out a giant pocket watch, staring at it with his multicolored eyes, "I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT!" He then laughed, floating over to the two duos that weren't able to speak to each other in the last chapter.

Caine: "SO WHILE WE'RE ALL TOGETHER AND IN ONE PLACE, Let's give our other two duos a moment to chat--"

He was then interrupted.

Pomni: "Um... Caine? So-sorry to Interrupt but..." She was obviously so anxious, rubbing her hands together, "But i need to ask... Why did you exactly pair me up with..." She then stopped talking, gulping as she felt a presence behind her.

Homelander was standing right behind her, looking angry and grumpier than ever.

Caine: "Oh oh, Pomni! Careful there, I randomly gave everyone here a new friend for crossover purposes! These are so INTERESTING and UNIQUE!" He raved on, "IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT, YOU TWO ARE LIKE PEAS IN A POD!"

Pomni slowly looked up at Homelander, thinking about the (not so) mysterious red substance that was dripping from his pale, rage fueled, chiseled features. She was scared...

Though, she'd be lying if she didn't admit she was at least a little curious about him. Was this how everyone felt when she first appeared in the circus?

Homelander: "What are YOU looking at?"

Could the same be said for Homelander? Was he a little curious too? Behind those blue eyes of him... Maybe.

Caine: "BESIDES, Just look at Jax and Thor!"

Jax: "Yeah, yeah. Whatever, I'm gonna look for the arcade around here."

Thor: "I say, this clown country is super funny! Look at what my hammer does when i shoot lightning!" He then lifted up his hammer, shooting what was supposed to be a bolt of lightning, instead a pile of confetti shot out.

Gangle was horrified, the loud echoing of the "bolt" shattered her mask.

Gangle: "Th--That was SO scary! Does... Does it make that sound every time you... Use it?"

Thor: "It's SUPPOSED to! Why?"

Jax: "Just ignore her, Greek god guy. She ain't all that fun, now MOVE!" He then stepped on Gangle as he dragged Thor with him, looking for the "gaming room"

Green Lantern (Hal): "Gee, that purple bunny sure has some attitude. Kind of reminds me of someone."

Flash: "Oh i KNOW who you're talking about!"

Hulk: "...Who?"

The last one up was Batman, untangling himself from his cape and walking over to see the commotion.

Batman: "Haven't slept like that since the dinosaur trip with Robin." He said, looking over at Homelander and Pomni, "Is it just me or have those two been... Staring at each other?"

The batman was right. The jester and the golden American superhero have been staring at each other for a while. But why?

Pomni: "So... What did you.. Do exactly, before you came here?" She shyly asked, now looking at her clown shoes.

Homelander: "Be a hero." He simply put it that way, "Just because the talking teeth say that we might get along, doesn't mean sh!&$t."

Pomni: "I was just asking... You don't have to be uh..." She thought carefully about her words, "So angry all the time."

Homelander didn't say anything, he just walked away with his blanket. He walked past the Justice League and stared them down. When he walked past Batman, he stopped.

Homelander: "By the way. I heard about you."

Batman: "Really? Yeah. I've sorta made a name for myself, thanks to Gotham--"

Homelander: "That. And her over there."

He pointed at Ragatha, who's been in the corner talking with Zooble and Iron Man.

Batman's eyes locked with her eye. He looked confused and surprised. And so did Ragatha. A red flushed her face, whilst Zooble and Iron Man were laughing playfully at her.

Caine: "OOOOH DRAMAA! BUBBLE GET THE POPCORN!"

Bubble: "Got ya, Caine!"

Homelander finally walked away, trying to find a bathroom or at least a private area to clean up in. He couldn't help but think about the red and blue jester...

Admittedly, he too, was a little curious.

But what was up with that ragdoll and bat?
