Hello everyone and fellow Circus Freaks, fans of The Super Amazing Digital Circus: And More. Today i will present to you these rules I've made for myself to follow while writing chapters. Please enjoy.
Rule 1: Anything is possible, do NOT rule anything out. There is no limit, any character can interact with any other, any arc can happen EVEN if it makes no sense.
Rule 2: Everything is canon.
Rule 3: Speak wisely, any jokes for future episodes, arcs, character dynamics, etc. WILL in fact happen. (This rule is the bane of my existence but also the best rule to ever happen to me)
Rule 4: Before using a certain character, make sure their fandom was first introduced in a previous episode. Unless this episode you are writing them in IS the introduction.
Rule 5: Be stupid.
Rule 6: Episodes can be as long or as short if needed.
Rule 7: Each season has 25 episodes, but can be split into as many parts if necessary.
Rule 7.1: Seasons can have "bonus" episodes. They are not retconned and have actually happened, but do not affect future planned episodes. (Collab episodes with friends.)
Rule 7.2: New characters can be introduced during bonus episodes.
Rule 8: There is no such thing as retcon. When a chapter is in drafts, you may change it however you'd like with the art of storytelling, but once it is published it is set in stone.
Rule 8.1: There is no such thing as retcon but due to chapters being so chaotic, I forget what even happens.
Rule 9: We shall never deny a guest even at the most ridiculous requests.
(I also accept funny requests/suggestions for future chapters because of this rule.)
Rule 10: If the requests push boundaries, we shall deny any from pests. We only accept stupidity in a light sense, nothing intense. (While I accept requests/suggestions, I will deny any that are too crazy)
These are the 10 golden rules i follow while writing, now you have this knowledge too.
