Billy had pushed Tommy into the dam, his body sunk quick and easy. He watched his body drift off with a smile on his face, he was quick to make it back to his car. He deep cleaned the trunk again and then headed towards home. He knew his dad would want to see him before work, he hated his father but if he didn't talk to him and check on Max sometimes shit would happen. He made his way inside, Niel was drinking as usual.

"Where were you?"

"With some friends."

"You have friends?"

Billy only nodded, he didn't want to really get into it. "Yeh, and I picked up an extra shift at the pool. I probably need to get to work soon too. I just thought I would stop by and say hello."

Niel only rolled his eyes. "Take that damn necklace off, you look like a bitch."

Billy looked him over, he pulled his necklace off not wanting a fight. Max watched him from behind a door. "Could I come with you?" She mouthed.

"I'm going to take Max, she can do the junior lifeguard program for free under my job. We will be back later."

Max practically ran to hide behind him. Niel didn't have time to argue or fight. They moved quickly, running out the door. Max sighed in relief. "I don't actually have to go do the junior lifeguard program right?"

"Right. I can drop you off somewhere with your friends or.."

"Jane maybe? She lives with Will."

"I can do that."

They were silent for most of the drive. All Billy could think about was spending every waking moment with Steve, Max noticed the look on his face. "You got a crush or something?"

"What?"

"You are all smiley."

Billy gave her a bit of a glare. "Not sure."

She only laughed at him. "Okay. Well when you figure that out..."

"You're like 10."

"I'm 15." She argued.

"You look 10. I don't need dating suggestions from my little sister."

Max only smiled, little sister, sometimes he acted like he wished their parents never got together, but this time she knew he cared. "Fine, but you know I am here for you."

He ruffled her hair and pulled into the Byers's driveway. He saw Steve's car and couldn't help but feel excited. "I'll walk you up, make sure Joyce is okay with you staying."

She nodded and followed Billy up to the house. Steve was leaving, having just dropped Will off. Steve literally bumped into Billy on his way out of the Byers house. "Whoa you good Harrington?" Billy asked as they passed one another. Steve gulped and stepped back.

"Sorry Billy." Max looked between them as he tried to get out of the way. "Hey red."

Max smirked at him, she saw Jane in the kitchen and waved. "Can I come in Mrs. Byers?"

"Of course Max, thank you again Steve for watching the boys."

"More than happy to help." He waved again and headed towards his car. Billy waved to Max and nodded a thanks to Joyce before he followed Steve to his car.

"How was playing mommy?" Billy asked, leaning against his car, blocking him from getting inside.

"It was nice." Steve remarked softly. "I like being their mom..."

Billy noticed how hard Steve was. He smirked. "Meet me at the swimming pool tonight, I have the late night shift. Hardly anyone even shows up, but sometimes there are a few people who do."

Steve nodded with a smile. "I have to work on some homework but I will be there.. Maybe around like 8?"

"That works for me." Billy grinned. "See you then, mommy."

Steve blushed deep, he hated how easy it was for Billy to make him hard. Billy grinned and headed to work, Steve couldn't wait till after his tutor session with Robin, he wanted to know what Billy wanted with him.

Billy watched the clock with need, he kept thinking about what he could do with Steve. What he could try with him. He wanted to cut him, he wanted to bite him. He wanted to hear him beg and moan for him.

He could hardly think, he knew he needed to keep watch on the people at the pool, but the last thing he wanted was to wait any longer. He knew Steve would likely be on time, but this was killer.

Steve tried his best to listen to Robin, she explained how each equation was supposed to work, but all he could think about was what Billy wanted to do to him. What they were going to get to do when he went to the pool. He wondered if they would even have alone time or if he was just being teased.

"Hello, life to Steve." Robin waved her hand in his face. He looked up at her with surprise.

"Sorry Rob, I just... Well, did you go to Tommy's party? Still getting over it."

"I didn't, but I did hear after his car crashed he disappeared."

"Tommy's car crashed?"

"How did you not know that?"

"I was pretty drunk when I went home."

"You're still hung over aren't you?"

"You could say that." Steve muttered, he looked at the clock. He would need to get ready to go soon. "Maybe I need to sleep it off, I'll come get help before math later?"

"Fine, dork. Oh how are the ducklings?"

"The kids are fine, we went to the arcade today, got pizza. I just had the boys today but Max and Jane are becoming better friends." He said with a smile. Robin grinned, she could see he really did care about them. "Lucas is on the junior varsity for basketball, I think next year he will be on the official team."

"Nice."

"Max and Lucas are dating too, they are happy. It seems."

"You know more than their parents do, I am sure."

"I wouldn't say that but... I am glad they can talk to me about stuff. Hey I've got to go, I have another thing to get to and I'm still a bit drowsy and stuff."

"Don't drive if you don't feel good."

"I'm sober enough." He promised. "See you at scoops."

"See you later," she grinned at him. "Just don't be late for your shift this time."

"I'll try not to." He waved as he raced out the door. As he climbed into his car he suddenly felt like he was being watched. He cocked his head to see if she was staring at him from the door, had he forgotten something? She wasn't standing there. He looked around but saw nothing, he shook his head almost sure he was going crazy. He started the car back up and headed to the pool.
