Billy groaned as he sat back on the life guard chair, he had another hour to go before he needed to pick up Max and head home. He hated the house he lived in, hated his father, Max's mother was something else.
He didn't want any of it, all he wanted was to let go. He wanted to be able to kill with no worry, and to fuck and mold Steve. He wanted to make Steve willing to do anything he asked, he wanted to see Steve kill.
He tried not to get hard at the thought, but he was alone and it was hard not to. He hoped Steve got home safe, it was weird for Billy to actually care that much about someone. He cared about Max, she was his little sister. Even if he hated his father and her mother, the kid hadn't done shit. She was annoying, but all little girls were annoying.
Hell girls were annoying, thats why he wanted to fuck Steve. As he watched the still water in the pool he had a thought.
He wanted to marry Steve, it wasn't just a fling. He wanted to make Steve his. He let out a soft grunt, he had never thought about marriage as a tangible thing. When he realized he didn't want a girl in his life, he thought there had been no chance.
His father was a homophobic asshole, wearing too much cologne or showering right got him started on a rant that should have placed him in prison. Billy had enough bruises and marks from the man to prove he wasn't joking about his feelings.
Billy growled at the thought of bringing Steve over. The hatred that Niel would spew had Billy plotting murder again.
Billy tried to get the thought of marriage out of his head, he would need to get Steve out of this place first. Hawkins wasn't safe enough to marry Steve. Just to fuck him. Maybe he could marry him one day, but for now they were boyfriends.... Friends with benefits? No boyfriends, Steve was his.
He hopped off the guard chair and changed once the clock struck his end of shift. He drove to the Byers and knocked on the door. He knew it was late but Joyce had said she was fine to stay till the end of his shift. Hopper opened the door.
Billy looked up at him with surprise for a moment. "Chief. I just came to get my sister."
Hopper smiled and turned towards the hall. "Max, Billy is here."
Max was at Billy's side within a few minutes. "Oh I had a question for you," Hopper said as he pulled out a notebook from his pocket. "Barb, do you know her?"
"Uh we go to school together, she hangs with like Nancy."
"She is missing, I know you were at the party last night so I was just wondering."
"I saw her," he replied, "she started the night with Nancy and Jonathan. Saw her drink a lot."
"Okay, and when did you leave the party?"
"I didn't really check the time, but it was before Tommy did. I heard he got in a wreck? Oh you can ask Steve Harrington, I took him home. He was drunk off his ass."
Jonathan was walking past as they were talking. "You aren't even friends with Steve."
"You can ask Eddie Munson, he saw us leaving together, and how do you know if we are or aren't friends? We don't have a single class together and I know that Nancy cheated on Steve with you. So if anyone isn't friends with Steve, it's you Byers."
Joyce and Hopper gave Jonathan a questioning glance. "Jonathan, is that true?" Joyce asked in surprise.
"Well, yeah but I thought they had broken up."
"You knew they hadn't," Will and Jane said almost in unison. While they were loyal to their brother, they were also loyal to their babysitter.
Jonathan's face grew red. "They aren't together anymore, that's what matters."
"We will talk about this later, go to bed." Joyce snapped. Jonathan lowered his eyes but did as he was asked.
Hopper watched Jonathan walk down the hall and turned back to Billy. "Nancy and Jonathan said that Steve was the last one they saw with Barb."
"I saw them go outside, they were talking about something. But he came back in, and we both got a shot. I know we shouldn't have been drinking yet but Jonathan was too an- Sorry.. We both went to get another shot, I noticed he was really drunk so I offered to take him home. Even if he had last seen her, he didn't do anything to her. I was with Steve near the end of the night. Like I said you can ask Munson, he saw us leave. I don't know if he was outside at all but I know he was in and out smoking..."
"Thank you Billy, you can head home now."
Billy nodded and placed his hand on Max's shoulder carefully. He was trying not to snap, but he really felt like he needed to stab someone or something. Were Jonathan and Nancy trying to say that Steve hurt Barb?
There would be hell to pay.
