He smiled and held his hand out to alicent. How dare he use that smile on her? He knows for a fact that his half smile turns her into a puddle of goo as surely as him kissing that spot right in between her eyebrows. Not that he's kissing anything. Or that she was remembering the feeling of his lips. At all. Nope. Of course not.

She allowed him to pull her to a stand, but only because these heels were killing her, beauty is pain and heels could be used as a weapon. Not that she had ever use them as a weapon, but the thought of stabbing at her husband's eye was appealing from time to time she could just pull off her shoe and stab

Goodness her mind was going strange places today

When she was up, he gave her one final tug until she bumped against his chest. She tired to push away, but his gaze glued her to him as surely as his hands, which press just firmly enough into her hips to make her too weak to move.

Criston made her feel like this would last forever looking in his eyes she could see her forever.

They had an unspoken deal. "Had" being the operative word. Alicent now had something she truly desired and no reason not to take it.

Oh wait. Her husband. When she was with criston she tended to forget she had a husband because he treated her like a wife like a queen. Like the person she wanted to be into see in herself.

When she was younger, she felt very much alone because her best friend had pushed her away  and now she had someone that she thought of as her person  she could talk to him confide in him and it didn't even have to be sex. He loved her whether they sat on the couch and talked for hours over a glass of wine. Or made love half the night and cuddled up his arms protective around her.

"Why is daeron going to see mother?" Aegon questioned before turning to his little sister. " what did you do?"

" me?" she demanded completely insulted " what are you talking about? I'm an angel."

" with a tilted halo. Daeron ran off to mother with a look on his face that said trouble."

" I don't know..." ara thought on that moment " well we were playing outside and I told him he was bothering me and I pushed him against a tree and then his leg sort of got stuck under the roots. He claimed that I did it on purpose, but how could I possibly do that on purpose?"

" probably asking to get rid of you."  Aegon decided.

" she would never agree to that." Ara corrected.

" we shall see." Aegon agreed.

Ara waited for daeron to reemerge, she knew her mother would never agree to such things. She loved her too much. But she didn't know what was taking so long for her to say no. She was getting punished, but she swore she didn't do anything wrong. She pushed nothing they hadn't done before.

"I surmise things didn't go well." Helaena remarked when daeron ran by.

"We don't know that ," Ara assured as Daeron slammed the door and wailed out life isn't fair. Why do you all hate me so much?!

"I assume things didn't go well." Helaena repeated.

" that's what surmise meant. I thought you were saying sunrise awkwardly.." ara remarked. " I guess that makes more sense. Why would you sunrise things didn't go well?"

" when do you ever go to lessons?" Aemond questioned

"those are so boring." Ara countered.

" should we check on him?" Helaena questioned

" somethings wrong." Aemond agreed

"We still don't know that. He could be being murdered. We should celebrate!" Ara declared.

"Aranyani!"
