Ara and daeron were not the closest nor would they ever be but she still hated that ara was so close with jace.

"Aranyani!" Alicent called out.

"Shes a farm girl at heart, cant get her away from the animals." Criston remarked as they walked. Criston grew up on the country side. Out in the middle of nowhere and he thought his little girl that might not be his little girl, but he was going to pretend for the life of him that she was because she loved being outside she loved wildlife she loved animals so much.

"She has such a big heart." Alicent added happily. Aras hair grew longer in beautiful auburn waves a pretty bow in her hair to keep her hair from her eyes.

Jace ran ahead of them and daeron chased after him trying to tackle him to the ground they both ended up falling on top of each other with a wail.

Alicent ran to daeron checking him for injuries. She didn't care if a little boy someone else could deal with the bastard. She was worried about her own child like any good mother would be. She didn't care that her son tackled Jace to the ground. It was a technicality.

Ara didn't care for the boys kerfuffle she was too busy with the animals. She smiled back at criston as she ran to a little goat. She was fearless. While, her siblings and Jace and Luke both were hesitant around animals for the longest time. They certainly wouldn't run up to farm animals without knowing that there wasn't danger she ran headfirst.

"I keep?" Ara questioned holding onto a baby goat. Alicents hand went to her heart. "I keep." Ara decided.

"I keep!" Ara repeated

"I keep!" Ara repeated.

" I'm tempted to say yes." Alicent admitted.

"I keep?" Ara beamed. "I keep!"

Criston had his own. Room it was small but it was his. Ara had been wandering the halls looking for criston k ocking on all the wrong doors until she found him.

"Ah ba dem!" Ara said hugging him

"A bad dream?" Criston whispered

"Ya." She agreed.

"Oh baby girl how did you get here?" He picked her up bringing her in.

"Wak". She answered. "Aye ere?"

"What?" Criston chuckled failing at deciphering her little babbles.

"I wak. " she repeated.

"You walked here."

"Aye ere?"

"What?" he laughed again. She pouted up at him, trying to concentrate on her words. Why couldn't he understand her? She was talking so plainly.

"Ssssay ere!" Ara begged.

"Stay here. Yes of course sweetie". Criston agreed. She sat on the bed, laid down, sat up again and punched at the pillow

" something wrong?"

" noOoo," she said shaking her head before laying back down again and staring up at him. She packed the spot beside her until he sat down. "Seep!" She instructed. She was confident that he would make the bad dreams go away.

Alicent wasn't worried when her daughter wasn't in her bed. She figured that criston had already collected her when she found out she had wandered through the halls in the middle of the night to try and find her father in the darkness. Her heart melted, and she rightfully freaked the fuck out.

To make things better or worse, she did not know she could not tell these days what her father's appearance meant, but Lord Otto Hightower was here in the capital and she wanted to confess to him certain things, and he didn't want to hear it because of course he didn't because he wasn't a part of the capital anymore. The drama wasn't part of his agenda. Her life and fears were not part of his agenda. The grandchildren however were.

"I did a bad thing" alicent admitted

"Does it effect me?" Otto countered

"Well... No." Alicent replied

"Then suffer in silence." Otto begged. " I am here to see my grandbabies, not to deal with your drama." Otto smiled seeing ara waddling forward.

"Ooooh!" She squealed running towards him. "Apa!"

"Sweet girl." otto cooed

"Apa!" Ara repeated.  He picked her up and she kissed his face.

" I missed my favorite little princess." Otto said. Alicent stared back at them baffled of course he was a sweet and loving grandfather her children when he couldn't be the type of father she had wanted. "Did you miss papa?"

"Yes!" Ara agreed.

" I'm so glad to hear it. Where is your brother?"

Ara pointed at jace.

"no that is a little bastard." Otto corrected bluntly. Alicent gaped back at him

"Father." She hissed

"A wat?" Ara cocked her head back at him.

" your brother, where is your brother?" Ara debated that where was her brother? She looked around from her grandfather's arms. She shrugged.

"Dot oh!" Ara declared kissing his cheek again.

"Yet you know where jace is?" Otto mused

"Jace!" Ara agreed smiling back at him. Jace waved from the ground.

" he is her little shadow anywhere my little girl goes. He is a few steps behind her." Alicent agreed.

" future leader you are leading the stupid little boys around." Otto cooed. Ara nodded only understanding half of it. She felt like she was a good leader. Whatever leader meant it sounded like something she wanted to be.
