"These crazy guys weren't affected like everyone else. They wanted to see."
-

"Do you have a blindfold on?" You hear Olympia in the distance, frowning you lean your head up to listen. "Is, is the blanket behind you still up?"

You stand up from Ethan's lap on the couch, the movement waking him up. He looks up in question, and then sees you sneak out the room. He stands up to follow you, noticing your concern.

"Okay, just come in really, really quickly." You hear her say and you speed up.

"Thank you so much." You hear an unfamiliar male voice tell her and the door clicking shut.

"It's okay." She says and the man walks further into the house. "Just wait, wait.." You turn the corner and see a stranger with her. Grabbing the shotgun, you have it loaded and aimed at him immediately.

"Olympia, what are you doing!? Get down!" You say as the man walks further into the house. He raises his hands when he sees you aiming at him.

"He's just scared." Olympia says just as Ethan comes running up behind you.

"Ethan, check the bag!" You tell him. "Olympia, get over here! Now!"

Ethan grabs the man, fisting his shirt and hold him up against the wall.

"Who are you?" He glares at him, the man grunts uncomfortably under his strong and tight hold on him.

"Who is this guy?" Douglas asks as he shows up.

"Ethan, I've got him. Check the bag, check the bag." You tell him and he pushes the man a bit into the wall before letting him go to check his bag. The man just lets himself slide down the wall to sit on the ground.

"Who is this? How did he get in here?" Douglas asks again, impatient.

"He's just scared." Olympia tells you.

"Shut up, Olympia!" You shout.

"He was scared, okay? I just let him in."

"You let a stranger in the house?" Douglas asks her in disbelief and anger.

"I'm sorry. He was terrified!"

"My name is Gary." The stranger then speaks up, shivering in fear on the floor. "I live in the city. When these things came, I got the first train out with some colleagues because we thought it would be safe. Please, please, just let me stay here. They're after me."

"Who's after you?" Ethan asks, frowning at him.

"I don't believe it. He's lying." Douglas says.

"Who's after you?" Ethan asks again.

"It's obvious he's lying." Douglas raise his voice.

"Why are you here?" Ethan ignores him and looks at Gary.

"We went to my colleague Carl's house to lay low. Everything was fine until they broke in."

"Creatures don't just break into peoples homes." You say, the gun still aimed at him.

"No, not the creatures, these psychos. These psychos from Northwood."
