"We're gonna go straight to Santa Rosa." Jessica decides.

"I don't wanna go to Santa Rosa."

"You can stay at my place until whatever this is, isn't."

"I don't have any clothes."

"You can wear something of mine."

"I'm not much of a chaps-and-boots gal."

"You're worried about what to wear right now?" She asks.

"Well, I find it comforting to focus on the wrong things."

"If this thing gets any worse, you'll wanna be off the roads and on a damn horse, trust me."

Jessica stops at a red light and the driver behind her rounds, speed up past and through the traffic. You gasp when they almost get hit more than a few times.

"People need to stop being so stupid." She says and then an explosion goes off behind you and you turn in your seat.

"Jess, go. Just go! Go, go, go."

"I'm not running the red light, not with you in the car."

"Just drive the car!"

"You gotta just let me drive. You're freaking me out." She tells you as you look outside at the people running frantically around.

The light turns green and she drives, then your phone rings, but realises it isn't yours. "It's not me."

"My phone is in the back seat. It's probably the foreman wondering where I am." She says and you turn and lean over to grab it.

"Right, just hold your horses." You say and she laughs humorously.

You have to lean back further to reach her purse. "Where did you put it?"

"What is that?" Your sister then says, her voice sounding scared.

You hear rumbling and something you almost think is growling outside the car.

"What is what?" You ask looking outside and then back ahead but see nothing outside, just people starting to run around. Turning you see your sister, she's staring straight at something, panting and shaking in her seat. "What are you looking at? What did you see? Talk to me."

Then she takes a sharp turn and speed up, making you jerk in your seat and grunt.

"What are you doing? Jess! Jess, don't do that, what is wrong with you? No, stop it!" You exclaim as you try to take the wheel. She just continues, speeding through oncoming traffic as you exclaim in fright. "Jess, please stop! Please stop it!"

Then she drives into a parked car and it makes the car flip and crash upside down. You grunt as you try to get your bearings, struggling in pain and your hearing is almost completely gone at the moment.

You crawl out the car after Jessica. Once out, she gets up and just walks off. You frown as you watch her, trying to get up yourself. She then stops and looks back at you. You frown worriedly at her. Then you watch in horror as she steps backwards and in front of a speeding garbage truck.

You scream and try to get up, you fall back so you crawl past the car in the direction she went. Only to see more explosions. You flinch and cover yourself. Eventually you look back up and use the car to lift yourself up, grunting and gasping in pain while you do so.

Looking around, you see people screaming and shouting. People are running around, abounding cars. Cars are crashing into each other and exploding. There's dead bodies on the road. You hear slightly better now, but feel dizzy as you stand up. Trying to let go of the car to move, you stumble slightly but manage to stay on your feet. Then someone grabs you and makes you run with them.

After running for a little while you get bumped into harshly and it pushes you to the ground. You feel your vision get blurry again and you struggle to get back on your feet.

"Lydia, what are you doing? Lydia, not now!" A man tells his wife when she lets go of his hand, going toward the street.

"She's hurt!" Lydia tells her husband as she heads for you.

"You can't help!" He shouts but she ignores him.

You're clutching your head, then hiss in pain. You pull your hand back down only to see it come back bloody. You flinch when a loud horn honks as a car passes, barely missing you.

"Hurry! Come inside!" A woman shouts. Looking up, you see someone coming towards you, gesturing to the house behind her.

"Okay." You mumble and manage to get up on your feet but only to get pushed back down by someone running into you.

"Sweetheart, get up!" She is about to lean down to help you when she stops abruptly and looks at something with a frown. "Mom?"

Looking up at her, you see her looking at nothing in particular, just the air in front of her. You pant as you try to get up again, but fall down and watch as the woman start walking toward a burning car.

"Please don't go." She says and gets into the car, sitting in the car seat while she starts to burn with it. You gasp and start crawling backwards in horror. You turn and still struggle to get back up.

Ethan Stone was running not that far away. He sees you struggling to stand up and changes direction to get to you. It startles you when someone suddenly grabs you.

"Hey, hey. It's okay. Keep your eyes down. Come on, I got you." The stranger tells you.

You don't fight as he lifts you to your feet and takes your arm. He puts the other hand on your back and guide. However, you stumble from loss of balance and strength, feeling dizzy. Ethan has to catch you.

You breathe heavily and clutch to him. His grip tightens, not letting you walk yourself as he almost carries you. You don't look up, like he told you and just concentrate on your weak steps as he walks you up someone's yard. And again, you stumble, so Ethan takes his hand under your knees and lifts to carry you bridal-style up to the entrance. He puts you down and you lean on the wall and starts knocking on the front door.

"Open the door! She's hurt!" Ethan shouts, knocking and pounding himself into the door to force it open.

A girl comes running up and knocks on the door, exclaiming.

"Hey! Open the door! Police!" She says.

You start to slide down the wall, not managing to keep yourself up straight.

"Don't open it." Douglas tells the house owner.
