Good day Everyone ! Welcome to my Literature Manifesto ✨.Let me share an empowering short free verse poetry in honor of my beliefs that reflects the essence and functions of ''Philippine Literature''.
In this poetry, the essence of Filipino crab mentality is vividly depicted, showcasing the toxic behavior of pulling down others out of envy. In the essence of this literature version lies a portrayal that Filipino people can relate which this serves as a powerful commentary on my behalf of this destructive nature that existed even up to this day.
I Zyrenjohn, would like to state that change can be influential, but in this ever-changing world , let yourself be the start of change in breaking stigma of toxicity and negative traits we Filipinos hold. Again, let's us be the change of promoting positive changes!.

"Breaking the Crabs' Grip: Unity in Literature"
Written by: Zyren PanchoIn a place full of culture, in the Filipino shores,
Lies crabs in a bucket, toxicity often told
When one starts to rise,to success they aspire
Others pull them back, their dreams they conspire. In the hearts of many, where grudges creep,
One's success story, runs threat and envy deep
Instead of supporting and climbing together, they bid adieu
A mentality that we call '' talangka'' reigns , leaving a poisonous brew. But let us break free from this cycle of woe,
To help oneself, to hard work and compassionate we go
For a rising tide lifts all boats, they say,
Embrace success, in unity, pave the way.So, let's rewrite this narrative, let's change the decree,
From crab mentality to unity and glee.
Together we'll flourish, our dreams we must act
The only way to get out of poverty is to lift yourself up.
