Chapter 20

Angel awoke to finding Briar licking her face which is making her giggle. Angel placed Briar on her lap to find a note beside her on the table side as it read.

Angel,

Martha called while we were pleasuring ourselves turns out she needed me down at the bakery, so I won't be home until later this evening. If you happen to wake up please make sure Briar uses the bathroom and is fed because I know she is going to miss me in the meantime. I love you and see you this evening.

Angel chuckled reading the note as she saw Briar wagging her tail to go outside. Angel went upstairs putting on some clothes and then took Briar outside for her normal run around in the backyard. Angel sat on the back patio writing on her book as Briar played with the butterflies. Angel loved that little puppy as much as Jana did. Then it dawned on Angel she could go see what Jana was hiding as she placed her laptop down and headed upstairs to their bedroom, she opened Jana's dresser drawer to find nothing it's empty. Angel is for sure Jana is working on something because she grabbed all sorts of notebooks and pens at least according to her. Angel shook her head in denial that Jana would work on something in secret from her but she went back downstairs to work on her current novel that seems to have her stuck once again. Looking over her novel it seemed to point out what was missing as she reread it with a smile, it dawned on her amazement. Angel typed away for over an hour when Briar started whining to go back inside and get some food an water to recharge herself, Angel needed more coffee as it is to keep going with her flow.

Angel got her coffee then sprinted back to work on the porch to find her ending of a great book that she couldn't seem to resist on writing though she is afraid of backlash but she did gain fame from her first book Jazzabelle's Fame & Fortune Of A Lesbian Life. It became a real beauty once released and fame flew with it. This one just gives Jazzabelle more love and adoration with her wife Victoria aka Nikki, it shows a fabulous life after fame and fortune soon took over. Nothing extravagant but readers were dying for more of what went on between the two though it is a false tale, some have lived by the quotes, others lived by their life and so forth.

Before, Angel knew Jana sat beside her with a grin.

"You have been here all day working on that second book?" Jana said.

"Well, yeah, ideas keep sparking up. By the way, where did all your work go that was in the drawer last night that you stashed away from me?" Angel asked.

"Believe it or not, I am making a book myself. I can't say what it is but it will have an impact on your career and I will be sure to forward it to your company once it is completed." Jana replied smiling.

"You better not be messing with that Rose Gold Series, it isn't worth anything now since I have introduced Jazzabelle and Nikki as replacement to my namesake of the company. I can't afford Rose Gold Series to make its debut, it will be a disaster to my accomplishments so far." Angel responded through frustration pulling her hair.

"Angel, it has a new title and is in the works. Please just read it, I promise you, it does sound better than the original." Jana replied begging with puppy eyes.

"Alright babe, where is this new work at? I will give it a shot to see if it meets requirements for future Publishing." Angel responded.

Jana went inside grabbing her notebooks, pens, and surprisingly notepads to keep track of her work, it was all so organized it amazed her. Jana handed over her notebook full of notes then the one with the story to show Angel that she could do this new book. Jana saw Angel's surprise of how much she did in the book even reading it out loud and editing where it needed to make it sound good. Angel then looked at Jana with a smile.

"Where did you come up with this story? It is better than my own book that was written way before we got together. Ashton seems so much more than just an imagination and Jasmine sounds like my own fiance it is so amazing to see where you have brought them out of their shell, when did you plan on Publishing this under my name?" Angel asked all surprised.

"While you were busy writing this one, I have decided to take this one on, and whenever I get it finished to send off too your Publishers because this book is exciting as it is." Jana replied.

"I am very proud of you, Jana. This book is amazing though I see you have no title or description yet though that might come as the story flows which happens to a lot of writers that it comes later on while writing. I am more excited to see where it goes, do you think we could work on it together later on?" Angel responded.

"If I get stuck I will ask for your help. I do want to do this on my own to the best of my ability. I do, thank you for the help, my love. I am going to head in to write and cook dinner. I will bring dinner out to you when it is done." Jana replied kissing Angel on the cheek.

Angel saw Jana go back to the kitchen with a bounce in her step as she went to go make dinner and work on her book too. That is when a idea came up for her in the next installment of Jazzabelle and Nikki it dawned on her that she could make it more realistic about two authors in one household that would take a spin off to their wedding in the fourth or fifth installment. Angel ran back inside to tell Jana her plans.

"Jana, babe, where are you? I need to talk with you." Angel said.

"In the living room sweetheart." Jana replied.

Angel walked into the living room smiling seeing Jana working hard on this book that she has taken over as she placed it to the side.

"Everything okay, Angel?" Jana asked.

"It is well, perfect, amazing. You can Publish that book once you're done. Self-Publishing is a high market right now and it would be great to get your name out there too." Angel said with excitement.

"Angel, honey, I have no success in this industry like you do. You will need to put this in your name, it wouldn't be right for me to take your hard earned work from you. This is your dream not mine. My dream is much more than taking yours away. I am proud of how far you have come with Jazzabelle and Nikki but I will not take this book into my own name." Jana replied with a sad tone.

"Think about it, baby, please. I want us both to be successful in our own ways." Angel responded as she turned around to get her laptop to join Jana on the couch.

Angel never felt so heartbroken of something that they both could do.
