Chapter 11

Angel arrived in Michigan back in her hometown Roseland, she felt depression kicking in fiercely. She wanted to desperately to contact Jana but knew her father would probably be watching her every move. She couldn't see her life without Jana, and didn't need or want any other woman. Angel walked her way to Midnight Cafe to go see Shauna since she knew the struggle that Angel would suffer without her love. Her heart felt so torn the long walk to her old store but she would manage. Soon as she walked into the store everyone in the store gave a surprised expression, Shauna ran up to her looking behind her and around her for Jana but surprised again that Jana wasn't with her.

"Where is Jana? Why are you here alone? What is going on?" Shauna asked with curiosity.

"I know it is your office now but can we go please speak there?" Angel asked in return.

"Sure, sure. Let's go. Excuse me folks, personal business to attend. Lucia, babe, please take care of our customers." Shauna said rushing off to her office with Angel.

Shauna shut her office door silently as she looked at Angel closely.

"Jana's father ran me off because he thinks his daughter should be with a man like Wallace to wed her off instead of me." Angel said through tears.

"That is so awful, I can vouch that Jana will come back because she's on her way from what she told me several hours ago that's why I was shocked to find you here?" Shauna explained with a smile.

"My love is coming for me! She ditched her father's ignorance for me. This is the best news. I can't wait to be in her arms again." Angel replied wiping her tears with a smile.

Shauna and Angel hugged tightly for the excitement then Angel looked at Shauna saying,

"Are you dating Lucia Yule from Sampson?"

Shauna nodded enthusiastically replying,

"Yes, I am she is so full of life and love that I adore, she reminds me of Jana in a lot of ways.

Ever since I got over Danielle Bradley from High School, Lucia has changed everything for me and best part is we share our dorm room that we got together in. She is so lovely." Angel laughed responding,

"As long as she makes you happy that is all that matters to me, she is a beautiful redhead from what I can tell."

Shauna pulled Angel to the couch replying,

"She has beautiful red hair that flows in the wind, green eyes that make you see emerald, and olive skin that is soft to touch. She's a gorgeous woman."

Angel patted Shauna on the shoulder responding,

"That she is. We have made love more than enough times though we ended up stopping because of the shop but we have came in here more than once for some fun."

Angel shook her head with a laugh replying,

"Me and Jana just had our romantic time away before Gabriel decided I wasn't good enough for Jana, so this is our first big slope in two years, and I do miss her already."

Shauna nodded understanding responding,

"I hate to leave but I have to get back to work. Lucia can't do this all on her own and we have rush hour in about two hours."

Angel and Shauna hugged then Shauna left leaving Angel in the office wondering if now would be a good time to text Jana to see how much longer it would be before she arrived. For her own sake though she waited because patients is the key to a successful love like theirs, granted they haven't talked because of the situation that is broken down by Jana's father though she should of went with her gut and told Jana what her father wanted out of her, she knew deep down that Jana would have given him an earful anyways. Angel got up from the couch pacing back and forth then the door clicked surprising her with a startle to who could be coming in then her face lit up seeing her love standing in the doorway.
