𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐄𝐍- 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐊𝐈𝐃𝐒 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫

✿solo debut?✿

after the contract renewal recently and their comeback 'ATE', FLORINA thought everything would be calm for the next few days apart from the constant practices before the world tour starts on 24th August.

as soon as the group landed in Seoul after their lollapalooza performance in Chicago, haewon was called to the company instead of returning to her apartment like usual.

"weird," she thought but walked to the meeting room along with escort staff to see the CEO himself, Choi Seunghyuk aka VERSACHOI, and a few other staff members.

"I didn't do drugs, not dating anyone, heck I don't even remember the last time I had a glass of red wine," haewon said as soon as she was given the sign to take a seat, thinking the management might have found some false rumours on her.

the CEO laughed and seunghyuk shook his head at her antics, "No you're not in trouble," this made haewon breathe a sigh of relief, "then what's wrong?"

"we wanted you to make your solo debut before the world tour starts, you do have some songs written you showed, seunghyuk will help you with everything," the CEO started making haewon open her mouth in shock, this was too much to process for a 'jet-lagged and worn out from performing 24 hours ago' person.

the meeting went on for a while more before she was allowed to leave, seunghyuk tagged along with her and all the dreams haewon had of taking an hour-long roses and bubble bath with a glass of red wine in her new dorm/apartment went poof.

"solo debut? now? this is impossible, ani, this is abuse," haewon whined as soon as she entered her personal studio she was given not too long ago.

"nothing is impossible for you haewon, you are a literal machine, a normal person wouldn't be able to form a choreo for an 'experiment song' they wrote and produced in three hours with only red bull keeping them alive at the age of nineteen," the older threw up quotation signs and gave her a look of 'try me bitch'

"I mean, but oppa, that, whyyyy?" she cried letting her head fall on the table where every possible instrument needed for making songs was kept, the studio looked like it came from a museum filled with expensive instruments, well it was. famous and rich idol privilege I guess?

"come on Won, you can start tomorrow, I have a favourite song of yours that you wrote two years ago, it will be the perfect song for you to start with, go home and rest for today," he pushed the girl out of the studio and sent her home.

"my sweet bubble bath and wine, I'm coming," haewon cheered quietly as she entered her new dorm, the group had just moved from the previous shared dorm to the new one and she had chosen to reside alone even when the rest of the members said her to join one of the duos.

the long-awaited bath had been finished and now instead of sleeping, dear haewon decided it would be better for her to go through the hundred or more notebooks filled with various songs she had written in the past ten years of her life. 

she took a seat on the expensive couch and browsed through the scribbled letters to try and come up with a song and after two hours of reading and humming, she had made a base and fell asleep on the spot.

the next day at the company after the group practice she had excused herself from the group and stayed in the studio for the rest of the day to put the pieces of the song together with the help of VERSACHOI and herself of course.

after two days of brainstorming and vocal cord abuse, the two finished the song. yes, a single song because she preferred to debut with a single. the first one to hear the final song, well VERSACHOI doesn't count here, was Chan of course. that man's been with her every single second for the past almost eight years.

"amazing, Tina this is amazing," Chan could only gape at her low-pitched vocals, the feelings the song emitted and think of what happened that made the younger girl write this masterpiece.

"why thank you Chris, this is the only approval I need," they smiled at each other with only fondness in their eyes for the other person.

"you'll do great, I promise," Chan said softly holding her hands comfortingly, haewon didn't say anything and just nodded, as long as they are together, everything is going to be good.

the next few days went by quickly filled with ATE album promotions and events, haewon's schedule was too packed with rehearsals left and right, both the group and solo. promotions for the group album were a success, and photoshoots for the million brands she is sponsored by were also going fine.

all that was left was to rehearse all five different versions of her single before the world tour starts because she was given five solo stages in five different cities. now what could this solo debut of the only female in the world-famous boy band be?
