One evening, after a particularly long day at work, Ananya found herself at Meera's garage. Meera was finishing up her last repair for the day.
"Hey, mind if I stay a while?" Ananya asked, leaning against the doorframe.
"Not at all. I could use some company," Meera replied, wiping her hands on a cloth.
They sat on the rooftop of Meera's garage, looking out at the city lights. The air was cool, and the sounds of the city below were a soothing backdrop to their conversation.
"Do you ever think about where we'll be in a few years?" Ananya asked, her voice soft.
Meera pondered for a moment before replying, "As long as we're happy and doing what we love, I think we'll be just fine."
Ananya smiled, resting her head on Meera's shoulder. "I think so too."
