One afternoon, while Meera was working on a car and Ananya was chatting away about her latest event, a sudden downpour caught them by surprise.
"Looks like we're stuck here for a while," Meera remarked, watching the rain cascade down.
Ananya shrugged. "Could be worse. At least I have good company."
They sat on the porch of the garage, watching the rain together. Ananya started humming a tune, and Meera listened, the sound of Ananya's voice blending harmoniously with the rain.
"You have a beautiful voice," Meera said softly, surprising herself with the compliment.
Ananya blushed slightly. "Thank you. Maybe one day I'll sing for you properly."
