One lazy afternoon, Ananya decided to drop by Meera's garage unannounced. She found Meera in her usual spot, tinkering with an old car engine.

"Don't you ever take a break?" Ananya teased, leaning against the doorframe.

Meera looked up, wiping her hands on a rag. "Work's never done around here. But I can make time for you."

Ananya smiled and pulled out a book from her bag. "I brought something for you. It's a collection of stories from Rajasthan. I thought you might like it."

Meera took the book, surprised. "You know I don't get much time to read."

"Well, you can start now," Ananya insisted, dragging a chair next to Meera. "I'll read to you."

As Meera continued to work on the engine, Ananya began reading aloud, her voice filling the garage with tales of love, bravery, and adventure. It was a different kind of music, one that Meera found herself enjoying more than she expected.

As the afternoon turned into evening, the two sat there, lost in the stories and each other's company. It was a peaceful, contented silence, one that spoke of deep comfort and understanding.
