"Reggie is here" Gretchen squealed as she ran up to Margot. Margot turned quickly and finished swallowing the cracker she was eating. "Go, Go! Take this!" Gretchen said handing Margot a cup. Margot made a few noises of protest before she was shoved into the crowd, catching a slight glimpse of Regina's blonde hair at the front of the house.
"Hey!" Reggie said from behind Margot. Margot turned and smiled at Reggie. He looked her up and down before sighing. "Wow... Didn't know you'd clean up like this" He laughed. Margot was taken aback by his laugh. It was really... really high pitched. She began to laugh herself at his laugh.
"Sorry, I just..." She rambled before drinking the cup Gretchen handed her. She made a face of disgust. It was some fruity alcohol. Correction, multiple fruity alcohols.
"Wanna head somewhere more quiet?" Reggie slightly shouted over the music. Margot smiled and nodded, following Reggie as he took her hand. His palms were sweaty, Margot cursed herself in her head, blegh.
Margot quickly let go and continued following him. They made their way into some sort of man-cave with a pool table in the middle.
"Nice, wanna play a round?" Reggie asked, running his hand over the table. Margot nodded her head and looked at the few other people in the room. Reggie was blond, his hair was kind of dark but it was curly and went down to his ears. His eyes were Hazel and he had a slight dash of freckles over his cheeks.
Margot took another sip of the drink before putting it down and grabbing a pole and wiping her lips.
"I don't think I ever expected to see you in a dress" Reggie smiled as he lined the pool balls up. Margot smiled at him and made a humming noise.
"Yeah, I can't say that I ever did too. Regina actually picked it out." Margot smiled. Reggie's face slightly dropped at Regina's name.
"Regina, huh?" He asked in a low tone as Margot broke the triangle. One of the stripped balls fell into a pocket. Margot smiled to herself as she aligned with the cue ball.
"Yeah. She's on the volleyball team now. I think she wants to be friends, oddly enough" Margot laughed to herself as she missed the hole.
"I wouldn't trust a thing that girl says" Reggie grumbled. Margot made a questioning face as she tilted her head and watched Reggie.
"Why?" Margot asked, having an idea of what Reggie was going to say. Reggie groaned as he missed his shot.
"I'm just saying, Regina she... She doesn't seem like your type of friend" Reggie said, looking away from Margot.
"And how do you know who my type of friend is? The only time I actually see you is practice and games." Margot defended Regina. She wasn't sure why she had kept defending Regina these last few days. But she wasn't going to let Reggie here talk bad about Regina.
"I don't mean anything by it, it's just... She's a plastic and you're, well you're-"
"She's what, Reggie?" Regina asked entering the room. Everyone looked over at Regina. She had on a black dress, almost identical to the one Margot was wearing. She had her arms crossed as she made her way over to Margot.
Reggie rolled his eyes and sighed. "Listen Regina I just meant you know you're blonde and bitchy, Margot is... Margot isn't like that. And frankly I think you're gonna influence her in the wrong way" Reggie said. Margot made a disgusted face.
"You're not my dad" Margot muttered, feeling a shiver go down her spine. "We barely know each other"
"You want Margot to call you daddy though, right?" Regina asked, taking Margot's face in her palm and looking Margot's face up and down. "No, Margot won't stoop to your level. Margot here would never get with someone like you." Regina laughed as Gretchen and Karen made their way inside the room.
