Kylie tossed and turned in her bed hearing the sounds of the rain pouring heavily outside, and the thunder striking almost every few seconds. Kylie hated storms, something about them was so scary to her, and she was definitely losing sleep over it.

Kylie stood on her feet, making her way out of her hotel room and down to Malia's hoping she was still awake. Once Kylie reached Malia's room she knocked gently on the other girls door. But her face fell to a pout when her favourite girl didn't answer the door.

She knocked once more, this time a bit louder.
Malia shot up in her bed to the sound of knocking on her door. Getting out of her warm bed she slowly made her way to the door of her hotel room, looking through the peep hole before opening she was meant with a distressed looking Kylie.

"Kylie? What are you doing here?" Malia asked her voice laced with the concern for the dark haired girl who was stood at her door.

"I can't sleep, i hate storms" Kylie whimpered, practically falling into Malia's arms.

"Aw poor baby, you look so tired" Malia said grabbing the other girls hand bringing her into the hotel room.

Loud thunder began to strike again making Kylie jump, her eyes beginning to water at the sound, She looked to Malia for support gripping onto the other girls sweater.

"Shh-shh, it's okay don't cry, i'm right here Ky" Malia cooed, rubbing her finger tips against the other girls back soothingly. Malia held  the other girl close to her until her sobbing calmed down, once it had she pulled away, meeting Kylie's brown teary eyes. Still holding her hands, offering the silent reassurance that she was still there right with her.

"Let's get you some water my love" Malia stood up leaving Kylie's grasp, the other girl pouting at the loss of connection to Malia. "I'll be right back Ky" Malia reassured.

"Here, drink this" Malia returned with a glass of water, Kylie grabbed the water from the other girl, her hands shaky and unsure if they could grip the glass.

"Lia?" Kylie looked at the other girl sitting across from her, placing her water down on the table next to them. "Yes my girl?" Malia replied focusing her gaze on Kylie.

"Can i stay with you tonight?" Kylie asked hoping the other girl would say yes. "Of course Ky, i could never say no to you" Malia tapped the other girls nose earning a slight smile from Kylie. "There we go there's that beautiful smile!" Malia cooed, picking up Kylie's hands once again leading her to bed.

"It's late Kyles, are you okay to go to bed?" Malia asked gently lightly stroking the other girls hair. But when she looked down she was already met with an asleep and smiling Kylie.
