Kylie paced nervously around her small hotel room, her eyes darting to the clock on the wall. The premiere of "Descendants: The Rise of Red" was just hours away, and the weight of her role in the film was beginning to feel overwhelming. She took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing heart, but the anxiety was relentless.

Her best friend Ruby noticed Kylie's distress from the doorway. Ruby had been with Kylie through auditions, rehearsals, and countless pep talks. Today, she knew her friend needed more than just words of encouragement.

"Hey," Ruby said softly, stepping into the room and placing a calming hand on Kylie's shoulder. "How about a break? Let's go for a walk."

Kylie hesitated but then nodded, letting Ruby guide her out the door. The crisp evening air was a refreshing change from the tension inside. They strolled through a nearby park, the soft rustling of leaves and distant laughter of children providing a soothing backdrop.

"You know," Ruby began, "I was thinking about something. Remember when we were little and you used to make up these incredible stories? We'd act them out in your backyard."

Kylie smiled faintly. "Yeah, I remember. Those were the days."

Ruby continued, "And you always had this amazing confidence. You believed in yourself even when nobody else did. You were never afraid to dream big."

Kylie looked down, her fingers tracing the path of a fallen leaf on the ground. "That was before all of this," she said quietly. "Before I felt this pressure to be perfect."

Ruby stopped walking and turned to face Kylie. "You're still that same person. The one who dreamed big and believed in herself. Nothing's changed except the scale of your dreams."

Kylie's eyes met Ruby's, and she saw the sincerity and unwavering support in her friend's gaze. "But what if I mess up? What if everyone thinks I'm not good enough?"

Ruby shook her head. "You're not alone in this. You've worked so hard, and everyone knows it. They're rooting for you just like I am. Just like the rest of the cast is. The only person you need to impress tonight is yourself."

Kylie took a deep breath, the anxiety easing as she absorbed Ruby's words. "Thanks, Rubs. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Ruby smiled warmly. "You'll do great. Just remember, no matter what happens tonight, you've already achieved something incredible. And that's something to be proud of."

As the sun began to set, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink, Kylie felt a sense of calm. With Ruby by her side, she knew she could face the premiere with the confidence she once had deep inside.

The two friends walked back to Kylie's apartment, ready to face the evening together.
