" And the first place goes to Aarna Kapoor and Naksh Deshmukh . A huge round of applause for both of them " The dean of the university announced.

Aarna looked at Naksh and Naksh looked at Aarna . Both proud of themselves and each other.

While walking towards the stage , she whispers " I am proud of you . " . He smiled and replied " I am proud of you too "

They collect their prizes from the dean and the assembly got over .

[ Aarna's Pov ]

My father would be so proud. And my mother would shed tears of happiness.
I giggled.

" What's so funny huh ? " Naksh asked as he took a seat beside me .

" Nothing "

" To celebrate , be ready at 7 today " He said to Aarna.

" You are talking me on a date ? " Aarna asked excitedly. " Yehh . You deserve it " He said and I kissed his cheeks.

It was not my intention but sometimes he does things so well and maturely that I cant control myself.

Naksh's face got red and he gently touched his cheek where I kissed him . Its not like I kissed him the first time but still each time with him feels like first . He smiled shyly and turned his face .

" What happened Mr . Deshmukh ? You want one more , huh ? " I asked teasing him.

He got more red from blushing and took a bite from his sandwich . And I laughed loud .

" Naksh , you can look at me . I won't tease again " I said giggling and turned his face to me by grabbing his jaw .

He got normal but still was smiling like a maniac.

" Umm . Aarna . The company's placement is in few months . And only one can be selected . What will we do ? " He asked as we were walking home.

" Yehh right ! But that's not a big deal . Its obvious only one can get in so its either me or you . " I said.

We have a placement in 3 months and two of us are selected coz we are the best students of our university . It's both of our dream company to work in . But only one of us will be selected . And we both are tensed about it .

" Ok leave about it . Tell me the venue for the date today ? " I asked changing the subject.

" You don't need to worry about it . Just be ready and call me once . I will pick you up . " He said .

" Finee ! And what about uncle's business . You will be the ceo anyway . So why are you struggling so much ? " I asked . His father holds a company and he will be the ceo . He will be taking over the company one day .

" Yes I know . But like you , I want to prove that I am capable and aware of my responsibilities . And Siya di is also told me to gain some experience before handing a whole company " he said explaining himself .

I hummed and then we my home came . He bid me by and went towards his one .

Both our fathers owns company . We both have money and chance to take it as inheritance . And we will one day . But it's our dream to work in that company . And if we lose this chance , we will have to wait for 3 years for another placement .

I stood in front of my mirror, carefully choosing my outfit for the evening. My mind kept wandering back to the conversation Naksh and I had earlier. The thought of only one of us getting into our dream company was unsettling. But I couldn't let that ruin our night. I shook off the worry and focused on the excitement of the date.
