Bhumi's pov!

God! It was so funny to watch his expressions.

If he were a comic character, I am sure smoke would be coming out his ear by now.

Well, serve him right!

How dare he introduce me as his girlfriend? His nerves!

He doesn't know who Bhumika Basu is?

And after today, he will think twice before playing with me.

I played the girlfriend drama to the maximum and I will continue so until he regrets what he did.

The two Mehrotra women took to me pretty quickly.

Roop Mehrotra is the matriarch of the Mehrotra family. And unlike what the tabloids say, she seems to be a very sweet lady.

I actually liked her very much.

Roop Mehrotra had remained married to her husband for only ten years, before Haresh Mehrotra died in an accident.

And in those ten years, Roop gave birth to two boys.

Naksh and Nakul.

Roop, as the business world says, is a force to reckon with.

Following Haresh's death, several people had tried to take over the Mehrotra empire, but Roop put her foot down and took the reins.

And she did that until her elder son Naksh was old enough to take over. Nakul followed his brother soon enough.

This is the information Arohi had shared with me once.

As I already mentioned, Arohi and her celebrity crushes tend to give you whiplashes, because she jumps from one to the next before you could even blink.

And Daksh Mehrotra, Aryamann's elder cousin brother, was once Arohi's crush. And Arohi had browsed the entire history of the Mehrotra and shared them with me and Bani.

Well, the crush perished when Daksh got married to the woman of his dreams. I don't remember the lady's name. I am not much into tabloids and celebrities.

When Arohi started moaning about how her crush got married, I actually zoned out.

What? Don't blame me. If it were her first heartbreak, I would have definitely lent a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on.

But her heartbreak seems to happen on a weekly basis.

How am I to keep track of all that? And thankfully, her crushes have always been limited to people whom she may never ever meet.

Okay! Enough about the Mehrotra family history and Arohi's petty crushes.

Now we are in the dining room, having dinner.

Can you believe it? I am having dinner with the freaking Mehrotra family.

Who would have thought?

The Mehrotras had always been portrayed as a cold and distant family, who only cares about their family members and not anybody else.

But the two women here seem to adore me.

How the hell did that happen in an hour?

Okay!! I am a pretty lovable person. But still.

Arohi called me in between and I told her that I will be back home soon.

We finished our dinner and the house help brought dessert.
