Aryamann's POV:
"Mr. Mehrotra, there is an issue that requires your urgent notice," my PA informed me anxiously.
It had been a few hours since I left Bhumi's place. After reaching the office, I had immersed myself in my workload to stop myself from thinking about my confusing feelings.
I looked up at my PA and saw sweat beads forming on her forehead, indicating the matter was serious.
"What's the matter?" I asked, already standing up from my chair.
"Could you please come to the main systems room, Mr. Mehrotra?" She asked again.
I was tempted to scream at her and demand that she tell me the issue right away, but I have been in business long enough to know how to handle crises. A calm mind is essential at times like this.
"Sure," I said and walked ahead, my PA running behind me to catch up.
As I reached the floor where the main systems room is located, I saw Daksh and Gaurav joining me, with their personal assistants right behind them.
If all three of our presence is required, it only means the issue is much more complicated than I initially thought.
"What's the matter?" Gaurav asked as soon as we entered the system room.
The whole IT head team was present there, and it was utter chaos.
"What is happening here?" Daksh asked in his booming voice.
"Mr. Mehrotra, the website crashed. Someone has hacked the website. I suspect information leakage. We are trying to fix the bug," one of the IT team heads said anxiously, and we looked at him in horror.
Crash? Oh goodness! What the hell is happening here?
"Fix it immediately. Nobody is leaving the Mehrotra premises until this issue is fixed."
NEXT MORNING:
More than twelve hours have passed, and we haven't found any way to control the situation.
And somehow, the news of the website crash has been leaked, and it's all over the local tabloids.
We have been getting phone calls and messages from the shareholders all morning.
My phone rang again, and I saw that it was from Bhumi this time.
I was tempted to attend the call just to hear her voice, but I controlled myself.
Bhumi's POV:
"Bhumi, wake up. Bhumi," someone shook me.
"What is it, Arohi?" I asked, opening my eyes groggily.
"Read it," she said and thrust the newspaper onto my face.
I looked at the front page, and my eyes widened in horror.
'Mehrotra Industry's biggest downfall.'
'Mehrotra website crashed and all data lost.'
'Shareholders withdrawing their shares.'
'IT professionals all over the world called upon to fix the issue.'
'Cash reward and job guarantee offered by The Mehrotra.'
Damn it. This was not supposed to happen.
All I wanted was the website to shut down for an hour.
I looked at Arohi, and she still had that horrified look on her face.
