Yenziel scanned the terrain. Buildings and houses alike were empty shells of their former selves. Some crumbled and some flattened. His eyes quickly glanced at the rumbling sky above him and he sighed to see nothing showing up yet.
-"Please stay put. We can't afford you to fall now."- He turned toward the eastern sea only to be blown back by a massive shockwave from that direction. -"What the!!?"- He quickly regained balance and stared at the horizon.

-"Oh my god..."- He gasped. -"It's happening..."-

Ariel finished healing Ivee's burns. She inspected the scarred skin but overall it was flawless.
-"Since you're so young, the skin healed like a dream."- Ariel sighed. -"A little mark here and there but it's great."-

Ivee inspected her arms and smiled. -"Thank you! Now I'm going to find Katie!"-
Ariel sighed. -"I'll go with you, grab onto me."-
-"Are we flying!?"- Ivee quickly clung onto Ariel in excitement. The tall woman grunted and chuckled. -"Calm down and hang on."- Ariel expanded her wings but stopped at noticing her wings. She looked back to see only a single pair of silver-lined wings. Her eyebrows pushed together in sadness.

-"Ari..."- Ivee whispered as she reached her shoulder. -"Are you okay?"-

Ariel took a deep breath. -"I will be..."- The Celestian woman flapped her two wings and lifted to the sky, gaining an excited shout from the pink-haired girl.

Kate felt the wind trying to swallow her. The entrance of the tunnel could be seen from where they were. -"We're almost there!"-

Logan glanced at Rai once in a while, he was severely injured but still climbing up. The wind now was a cyclone that threatened to shake them off their grasp. Rain began to fall and thunder and lightning rampaged around them.

-"What the hell is happening!? This doesn't seem natural..."- She whispered, worried for everyone's safety. -"Logan!"- Kate shouted up to him. He looked down. -"Levitate Rai out of here. He can't hold on any longer!!"-

Logan snarled. He wished Rai would lose his grip and fall to his death. -"Please babe?"- Kate's voice softened him.

-"Damn it."-

Logan snapped his fingers and levitated a moaning Rai upward and threw him over the ledge aggressively. The wind made it so difficult to even use his powers. He looked around in confusion, trying to see where the twister came from. It didn't feel natural, it was more of an entity in itself. It felt alive.

-"Logan!!"- Kate nagged and he shrugged. -"Be gentle!!"-

-"Katie!!"- Ivee's voice was heard among the wind and thunder. Kate raised her eyes to see Ariel and Ivee above the opening

-"What are you doing all the way here!?"- Ivee asked, considering that the wall they were climbing up on was at the edge of the island and not in the middle of town.

-"We don't know, we're just trying to get out!!"- The wind picked up, forcing Kate's eyes shut. The rocks were now dangerously slippery. The vortex sucked everything around them, trees, boulders, and terrain. They tried climbing out of the massive crater it created but the winds were too strong.

-I can't lose any of them. Please hold on! - Kate's mind began to panic. She wouldn't know what to do with herself if she lost anyone after everything they had been through.

Ariel was being hurled around by the wind, she couldn't fly. -"I can't stay in the air, I need to land!!"-

She landed at the edge of the abyss, setting Ivee down gently. Suddenly a massive wall of wind knocked them back to where Rai laid.
