Long ago in Ancient China the peacocks ruled over Gongman city. They brought great joy and prosperity to the city for they had invented fireworks.
But their son Lord Shen saw a darker power in the fireworks. What had brought color and joy, could also bring darkness and destruction.
Shen's troubled parents consulted a soothsayer, she fore told that if Shen continued down this dark path he would be defeated by a warrior of black and white.
The young Lord set out to change his fate, but what he did next only sealed it. Shen returned to his parents full of Pride, but on there face he saw only horror.
He was banished from the city forever, but Shen swore revenge. Someday he would return and all of China would bow at his feet.
But there is one thing everyone forgot about his story. Shen had a female peacock family friend, but she was also the girl he was betrothed to in order to take the throne as Royal tradition.
Her name? Daiyu *pronounced Dai-you*

"Why do i have to give up my daughter" Daiyu's mother asked Shen's father as she held her 2 year old daughter Daiyu in her wing-arms, who was sleeping peacefully.
"It's because of Shen" Shen's father explained "he knows about the betrothal and most likely sees her as his property in this state of mind he's in right now" He continued sadly as he held the engagement necklace around Daiyu's neck.
"Oh" Daiyu's mother sighed "but can't i just leave with her and take off the necklace" She asked looking sad "Even if that's the only way to protect her, where do i even leave her" she finished as she looked at her daughter again.
"One you know that these speciale necklaces are only able to be taken of by the person who put it on and that was Shen" Shen's father explained "And i think i know where & who can take her in" he continued thoughtfully.
He noticed Daiyu's mother looking at him to tell her who he was thinking of "I'm thinking about Master Oogway in the Valley of peace" Shen's father said "if your okay with this then i will inform him of our situation and tell him your on your way" he continued. Daiyu's mother sighed as she looked at her daughter.
"Very well" she said as she cried, Shen's father understood her pain. He felt the same when he had to banish Shen.
"I will write a scroll to Oogway to inform him of everything" Shen's father said as he placed a wing-hand on Daiyu's mother shoulder.
This whole lose of a child is hard on Shen's father and mother and they were helping eachother the best they can. So he couldn't imagine how hard it would be for a single mother.

"Welcome miss" Shifu said to the sad mother peacock who stood infront of the palace "Master Oogway informed me of your situation, i deeply am sorry for everything right now" He continued.
"Thank you for your understanding, Master Shifu" Daiyu's mother said "I'll be back when she will turn 10 years old" she continued as she gave Daiyu to Shifu "please don't tell her the truth, until i'm back" She pleased with Shifu.
"I promise, miss" Shifu said "i won't tell her until the day you return" Shifu responded. Daiyu's mother smiled with tears in her eyes at Shifu and left with pain in her heart that day, Never to be seen again 'cause she got sick and died 3 years later.

Years passed and everything was well until Daiyu was 10 years old and Tai Lung went to prison for attacking the Valley and Master Oogway & Shifu.
Daiyu got forbidden to leave the Jade Palace anymore. Daiyu also wasn't very suitable for the fighting aspect of Kung fu, but more on the side of using Kung fu for self-defense.
But there was one thing she couldn't understand about herself. So she went to ask Master Oogway for answers.
"Master" Daiyu said as she enter the main area of the Jade Palace "Sorry to interrupt your meditation session, but i have a question" she continued as Oogway looked at her.
"No worries, little one. It was time for a break" Oogway said as he stood up and mentioned for me to come closer "What can i help you with" he asked as i walked closer to him.
"I've able to see a strange golden aura around everyone except Tai Lung at least since after a few months back" i started explaining "I've also been able to sense if anyone is close to me" Daiyu continued explained her situation "How is that possible" she finally asked after explaining her full situation.
"Oh, my dear child" Oogway said calmly as he placed his turtoise-hand on my shoulder "You have the speciale ability called Third sight" he explained "come i will help you train, so that you'll be able to control it" He said as he led me to the water underneath the dragon scroll
"Really" Daiyu asked in excitement "but what does the golden glow of someone mean? And what about my Kung fu lessons" she asked.
"The golden glow shows you how good hearted a person is and if their able to be saved from a dark path" Oogway explained "and to be honest" he continued "i think your a bit more suitable to be a spiritual guide for future students" He stated and i looked at him confused "From what i've seen your more a peaceful person than a fighter" he finished explaining as we looked at the water.
"I mean true" Daiyu answered "and to be honest i don't think Master Shifu's fighting style is my style" she continued "and i also thinks Shifu needs a little rest and time after what happened to Tai Lung" she wispered quietly to make sure Shifu didn't hear me 'cause he still was hurt about the whole situation.
"I understand that" Oogway said "everyone has there own style when it comes to Kung fu" Oogway continued "and i agree with your theory about Shifu" Oogway finished talking and he walked away.
Oogway gave her a signal to follow him and Daiyu's training to be a spiritual guide began.
