Evelynn
I scurry to my room and decide to wash up before I have to see Chris. I step into the shower and use a soothing lavender soap and the most warm-smelling vanilla shampoo ever. Where do they even buy all of this stuff?! I wasn't complaining though.
I tie my hair into a messy bun before I leave my room. I was late to my meeting with Chris. I scurried out of my room and sped walked all the way to Chris's office. "Hi, sorry I'm late"
"You're fine Lynn" He says "So how was your first day?"
"It was fun!" I reply. Maybe staying here wasn't too bad after all. I didn't mind it.
"That's good!" He replies. I look around his room. It is open with a large table in the middle. There were lots of plants. Lots of them. "Ready to eat?" My stomach growled right on cue. I blush, nodding. "Let's go!" We walked downstairs and sat down to an array of food. It was pasta and salad.
"This looks so good!" I say taking a seat. Chris sits across from me. The others start to enter the dining room and sit down. Shai sits by me, and Amari is on my other side. I will myself to not think about what happened earlier. Amarl leans towards me and whispers "I forgot to give you homework." I tilt my head in confusion. "Try getting someone to blush at the table." He smirks and continues eating. Amari was just out to get me today. I shoot him a dirty look. I swirl some pasta on my fork, and put some salad on it. "Shai! Try this." I lift my fork to his mouth and make him eat it. He thanks me and keeps eating. No reaction!? What the duck! I think to myself. I look at Amari, who is trying to hold back his laugh. 10 minutes later, everyone was saying their byes and goodnights, and it was just Amari and I. "You little rat!" I say punching him lightly on the arm. He just laughs. "I'll show you!" I reach over to try to tickle him.
"Ouch, that hurts!" He says still laughing. He scooped me up, threw me over his shoulder, and started tickling me. He took me upstairs, and into a room. "Tickle fight!' He announces while throwing me on a bed.
Shai was the first one to join in. "Lynn, the bully's spot is right here!" as he reached for Amari's arms. Rylen threw a pillow at Shai and soon enough Aspen joined in. Pillows were flying and I got nailed in the face. I pick it up and throw it at Aspen, who laughs and throws it at Chris.
Days passed. My week was a blur of training and eating. But I realized being with all of them wasn't so bad. We all spent time with each other, and I got to know all of them a bit more. Chris was nice, considerate, and playful but also looked out for everyone. Roman, as tough as he seemed, really loved designing clothes. He would make all their undercover outfits. Shai was a big ball of sunshine, and we became close quickly. He was pretty emotional, and a very empathetic and caring soul. Aspen loved to cook. I'd help in the kitchen every once in a while. He seemed cold, but he picked up on all those little details. Rylen was Rylen. I swear he hasn't changed since I last saw him. He was still a playful soul, and supportive. He loved goofing off with cars, which has been one of his interests since he was 3. Amari, as much as I tried to get close to him, there always seemed to be some sort of wall. We joked around, and he loves to paint in his free time.
I sighed as I walked downstairs. It was a Friday evening and I was not having it. Everyone is either playing a board game or watching T. V. I walked over to the couch and curled up between Rylen and Amari. I stretched out to keep my feet on Rylen's lap and my head on Amari's. "What are you all watching?" I ask.
"A scary movie" Rylen replies, his eyes glued onto the screen.
"Oh." I murmur. I hated these movies. I could handle scary scenes, but jumpscares scared me. I sit up and lean towards Amari. "Can we go to a club? I feel like drinking." I whisper into his ear. His eyes open wide in shock.
"Are you crazy? Do you think your brother will let you go? If you get his okay though, I guess I can take you." He says with a smile
"Amari! You're the best!" I exclaim leaning in to hug him. Then I quickly moved to sit on Rylen's lap. "Ryryy," I say.
"Noo Lynn" He replies in a singsong voice
"You don't even know what I was going to say" I pout
"Knowing you, It'll be bad."
"Please can I go to a club? Or at least take me drinking" I add quickly
"That's a solid no from me." He says. I look at him with sorrowful eyes. "Fine, you can drink, but at home. Get one of the guys to take you to the store or something."
"You're the best Ryry!" I bounce happily. I look at Amari. "Let's go!' I say.
"Okay" he replies getting up. "Let me get ready."
I run to the kitchen. "Does anyone want to come to the convenience store with us?"
"I'll come!" Chris says
"Alright, you ready to go?" Amari asks. I nod following him to the car. I sit at the back and we start driving. 10 minutes later, we pull up to a shop. I get out of the car and drag everyone out. We walk through the aisles as I pick up Jelly powder, Cranberry juice, and some bottles of soju. "I thought we were only getting drinks?" Chris asks following me around.
"We are, you'll see, don't worry!" We started heading to the checkout when cute bottles caught my eye. They were pink bottles of strawberry milk. I looked away, turning to follow Chris to the checkout. He pays and we go back to the car. Amari starts the car, but after 2 minutes, he stops. "We aren't home?" I ask looking out the window.
"Nope, let's get some Ice Cream." Amari smiles. We walk to the cute little shop, and Chris goes inside to order for us. It was dark, and the wind was a little chilly. I looked at the stars, until all of a sudden a cloth was pulled over my head. "Put it on" Amari says. I look at it, realizing it was his sweatshirt.
"Thanks" I say as I pull my arms through it. The sleeves were big, and it hit right above my knees. Chris comes back with the Ice Cream, Strawberry Chocolate for me, Mint Chocolate for Amari, and Vanilla for Chris. "Thank you, Chris!' I say as I run to him to help him with the ice cream. I take mine and Amari's and hand it to Amari. We find a heated seat by a fire and eat our food. "We should take pictures" Chris says suddenly.
"Okay!" I say, looking at Amari for his answer. He nods and smiles. Amari and I do different poses as Chris takes photos. Then Chris and I take photos together. "Are you two not going to take photos together?" I ask narrowing my eyes. Chris hands his phone to me and I make them do different poses.
