If I were to tell my sixteen year-old self that Simon and I would be going out in the future, she would scream. We decided to have a picnic as our first date. It's because he prefers the outdoors and I am not used to expensive restaurants.

He came to my place and we both cooked fried rice and meat. It was a great bonding time as part of the date, he seasoned the meat, I chopped the vegetables and fried the rice.

We arrived at the garden at a decent time and set up the blanket and food. We sat and started talking. We joked about all the pranks we did to each other.

"I have a surprise for you" He says

"What?" I said curiously.

Simon proceeded to pull out a magazine, but I recognised the headlines. That was the magazine we were working on.

"I got the copies today" He smiled

I hug him instantly and we look through the magazine together. We see the portrait of the woman with the long black hair, the vase with abstract design and the rest of the art pieces.

They were written along with their prices and who to call. I started tearing up. I have worked so hard to get my father's approval of me, this might be it.

We spent the rest of the date walking around and Simon taking photos of me with his professional camera. The photos came out magnificent if you ask me. Simon was really talented with photography, it's a shame that he has to run the company instead of travelling around the world taking photos.
