Erd Tree: Awake... rise and awake, eldest son of Queen Marika. Awake... Messmer The Impaler!

It's voices called upon someone within the darkness. Within the Branches. The Erd Tree called upon someone ancient, someone rare in jts grasps. A living tool. Another Demi-god.

Inside the large Branch, the Erd Tree rose up bloody corpse from the surface, lifting it up with roots circling around the corpses leg, arm, and even his neck. It held him like a tortured toy, blood oozing out as if it were pent-up inside his body. The corpse did not bear any eyes but what took the eye's place was a dead snake, dried out from blood.

As the tree vines held and wrapped his body up, the vines began to shine a light of holy Erd Tree energy. It flowed across the roots before it started to affect Messmer. His body, still hanging like a used up doll started to twitch until it twitched once more until Messmer was alive.

Messmer: *GASPS* UGH! *Heavy Breathing* W-WHAT'S HAPPENING?! W-WHERE AM I?! MOTHER! MOTHER?! OH, THE PAIN! GRRAAAAGH!

Erd Tree: You're awake... good.

The Erd Tree spoke in a calm manner with a hint of sinfulness behind the voice.

Messmer recognized this voice.

A voice of manipulation.

A voice he had always regretted listening to hundreds of years ago.

A voice that allowed him to unleash the hatred for one he loved so.

Messmer tried to silence himself to listen to this enigmatic voice, but pain was the ultimate enemy that took over him. He groaned with the feeling of unrelenting pain. No eyes to witness the injuries with blood oozing out of his body, running down his uncomforting sensitive body that did not want any physical contact.

His breathing was heavy and fast. Messmer's efforts in battling the pain gave no difference. Another that ruled over him was his regret.

Regret in failing his mother.

Regret in going against his mother.

Regret was his second pain.

Messmer: UGH!! ARGH!!!

Erd Tree: At ease, Messmer. At ease...

The Erd Tree spoke once more as the vines rotating around Messmer's body shined bright the second time. It vanished the pain. It was no more as if prayers were answered in an instant.

Messmer exhales in relief before the vines gently placed him on his knees, sitting on an invisible surface of energy. The area had nothing but bright yellow lights as if he were sent to the very heart of heaven.

Messmer: Wh-where... a-am I?

Erd Tree: A question that should be answered later... but, for now, you must ask, what age is it?

Messmer: I-I... I... don't understand. What has happened?!

He desperately asked with his mouth shaking in horror. A tone that was he had never spoke in in his entire immortal life. Calm as he ever was but, despairing he is today.

Erd Tree: It is over, Messmer. You won a battle you never prayed to win. You won... you won for me.

Messmer: No... no, no! Th-that c-c-cannot p-p-possibly be!
