Ron: Hey, Carley, can we talk for a minute?

Carley: Of course. What's on your mind?

Ron: I was talking to Chuck earlier. He brought up something we should probably think about.

Carley: Chuck? What did he say?

Ron: He mentioned that Clem's hair is getting a bit too long. Said it might be dangerous if a walker grabs onto it. He suggested we cut it short.

Carley: *pauses, thinking* I guess he's got a point. We've been so focused on keeping her safe in other ways, I didn't even think about that.

Ron: Yeah, neither did I. But it makes sense. The last thing we need is for her to get into trouble because of something like that.

Carley: *nodding* I agree. But it's going to be tough on her. She loves her hair.

Ron: I know. That's why I wanted to talk to you first. I think she'll take it better if you're the one who talks to her about it.

Carley: *smiling softly* You think so?

Ron: I do. She looks up to you, Carley. And you've always been good with her. She trusts you.

Carley: *sighs, but then nods determinedly* Alright. I'll talk to her, and I'll do the cut. We need to keep her safe, no matter what.

Ron: Thanks, Carley. I know this isn't easy, but it's the right thing to do.

Carley: We'll get through it. Clem's strong, and we're all here for her.

Carley: Clem, we need to talk about your hair.

Clementine: My hair? Why?

Carley: It's getting a bit too long. It could be dangerous if a walker grabs you by it. We should cut it short.

Clementine: But I like my hair.

Carley: I know, sweetie, but it's for your safety. We don't want anything to happen to you.

Ron: Carley's right, Clem. A shorter cut might help keep you safe.

Clementine looks hesitant but eventually nods.

Clementine: Okay... but not too short, right?

Carley smiles warmly.

Carley: Not too short, I promise. Just enough to keep it out of your eyes and away from grabbing hands.

Clementine sits down, and Carley gently combs through her hair, taking out a pair of scissors. The train's gentle rocking provides a rhythm as Carley begins to snip away at Clementine's hair.

Carley: You're doing great, Clem. You'll look just as cute with short hair, I promise.

Clementine: Will it grow back?

Carley: Of course it will. But for now, this is the best thing we can do.

Carley carefully trims Clementine's hair, making sure to keep it even and manageable. She talks softly to keep Clementine calm, telling her stories from before everything went bad.

Carley: There, all done. What do you think?

Clementine reaches up to touch her now-shorter hair, feeling the lightness of it.

Clementine: It feels... different. But it's okay. Thank you, Carley.

Carley: Here lemme tie up your hair with hair strands lilly gave me

Ron: Ugh lilly we couldn't trust her.

Carley:Agreed

Carley smiles and gives Clementine a quick hug.
Clementine: Thank you carley
