Reds pov
I can't stop thinking about Chloe. I mean to the way she talks, looks at me, she's a great best friend. Best friend. I mean in another universe were lovers definitely but in this one were Platonic soulmates.
"what's on your mind?"
Aziz said in a teasing voice.
Aziz is jasmine and Aladdins son. He's not popular but he's a good friend. I call him azzy because it pisses him off, Chloe said I should try to stop getting on people's nerves but he calls me pepperoni so it's fair.
"nothing it's just dumb stuff."
He's always tryna hop on my d-ang nerves.
"pepper you can tell me anything. Is this about chloe?"
I look at him. Is he a mind reader?!
"woahhh why would you assume that. "
"Well maybe because you can't stop talking about her?"
He's not wrong but still, it annoyed me he's calling me out for it.
"Who cant red stop talking about?"
Chloe just came out of nowhere.
"Oh um nothing chlo just um boy drama."
She can see through me
"Yeah this is my cue to go, bye Chloe."
"Bye Aziz!"
"No Aziz don't leave me-"
He walks away. Great now I'm left with Chloe, and now I need to lie to her. Well maybe I don't.
"Red I heard him say her. Are you talking smack Red Hearts."
"No! I don't even know anybody here besides you and Aziz."
Chloe stops and thinks for second.
Chloes pov
Ok red is definitely crushing on someone. I can't tell if its a guy or a girl. Well she's not like lesbian I think, so maybe it's Aziz
"Ok cmon it has to be Aziz. You don't swing the other way. "
Red looks at me like she's about to tell me a big secret.
"Ok I'll tell you.. It's um"
"Red tell me! "
"It's.. Aziz.. "
"YES I KNEW IT"
My suspicions were correct but she seemed uncomfortable saying it which was odd but it didn't matter, I was right!
"Yeah haha you're right but just please don't tell anyone Chlo."
"Yep I hear you, my lips are sealed red. But you should talk to him and ask him to be your boyfriend. He might say... Yes."
I trail off and realize, red? Dating someone else? Well not like someone else but it seems weird to me.
"Yeah! He might but anyways I got to go so cya bluey."
"Bye red."
She walks away.
