The meeting

                                   Chloe's pov

I woke up to hearing me and reds names being called over the P. A. System. I realize it's principal Uma calling us to her office. I can't imagine how nervous red is right now. She's seen as a bad ass rebellious girl but she actually has feelings and emotions. She's cried in my arms before. She's risked her life for mine, she's amazing, I love her.

As I'm walking down the hallway to the principals office I come across Aziz.

"Hey Aziz!"

"Hey Chloe um can I quickly tell you something."

"Yeah of course, anything."

"Perfect, but you just can't tell red, or anyone."

I become nervous. Is he gonna say he likes red too?

"Yeah I promise."

I stop walking and turn my focus to him.

"I think I like red."

Oh my gosh. I don't know if I should be excited because red likes him too but something in me tells me she doesn't.

"Oh nice Aziz. Um anyways I gotta go so take care!"

"Oh um bye Chloe."

I immediately start speed walking away. Aziz. liking Red?! No. I mean I should be happy. But Reds mi.. My best friend. She deserves better.

Someone like me.

I walk into the office to see mal, evie, jay, and that dog. With red standing against the wall.

"Hey guys!"

"Chloe!"

Red immediately runs up to me and hugs me.

I whisper to her

"Raw or cooked"

"Cooked"

Red and I made this thing where if we were in trouble and the other one didn't know, we would tell eachother by saying raw or cooked. Cooked means were done for and this is interrogation!
Raw means were good.

"Have a seat please."
Evie said

Red and I sit down, holding hands under the desk of course. She's like my emotional support.

"So um you two are aware that unauthorized magic wands, spellbooks, or pfft i don't know, pocketwatch sized time machines are against kingdom rules right?"

Does Mal know? I think she knows about the pocketwatch.

Reds starts rubbing my hand. She rests it on my thigh and looks at me with a reassuring look.

"Yes ma'am we know that."
I was glad red was answering I was too scared to.

"And you do know the consequences for having these in your possession. Correct?"

Mal seemed intimidating.

"Yes, we turn it over to the museum."

"Correct red."

"Well then that means you guys don't have a pocketwatch time machine."

Everyone looks at the dog.

"I'm sorry but did he just talk?!"
I said

"Dude shut up."

"Jay, scratch my butt."

Jay picked up the mutt and went out the room with it.

Evie stares into our souls and says.
"Why do you have a time machine."

I look at red knowing Maddox made it.

"It was Maddox Hatter who created it, then he gave it to me."

"Did you guys use it."
Mal bangs the table leaning closer to red.

"Yes ma'am we did. Only to stop the prank that happened to my mom."

I was glad red told the truth, but at what cost?

"Well we need you guys to go back and make sure the prank is played."
Evie said

Red stands up, still holding my hands, i could tell she was angry.

"What?! First of all how do you know about that, second do you know what would happen if my mom was evil again?! I wouldn't be here."

Mal and Evie look at eachother. Until Mal says

"We'll explain everything after you guys come back. I promise everything will makes sense and you will still attend Auradon, I will personally make sure of it."

Red becomes silent. The world pauses. Until she she walks out, I follow behind and right before we walk out I mouth

"We'll talk"

To Mal and Evie.

Reds pov

This is so unfair. I mean all that work for nothing? Also how do they know about any of this. How do they know I had the watch, how do they know about the prank? And why do we have to let it happen.

"Red calm down please."

She puts her hand on my shoulder. But I can't obsess over this moment. Im so mad.

"Those stupid vks think they can just walk back into Auradon and say 'yeahh let your mom
get pranked but we won't tell you why!"

"Red maybe they know something we don't."

"I'll be sent back to wonderland, don't you get it? I might not see you again."

I can't live without Chloe. She's my only friend.

"I'm not doing it Chloe. They owe us an explanation."

"Red, I'm not saying we have to, but what if we messed something up when we were there. Or missed something. What if it was the wrong prank."

I look at Chloe confused.

"What? No the prank was to turn Bridget into a monster infront of everyone."

"Red when we were there we immediately left, we didn't even go to the dance."

"What are you saying Chloe?"

"I'm saying we should go back, not to prevent it, just to watch it happen. We need to stop ourselves from going back in time."

"Ok that's tricky, we're gonna see us if we go back?"

"I mean if it's the right place right time, yeah."

"And what will happen if we see them."

Chloe is really good at convincing. I'm almost on board with her plan or whatever.

"We tell them to go back. Back to their world time."

It wasn't a half assed plan, maybe Chloe was right. I still don't understand this but I won't be doing this forever so. Screw it, we're going back.

"Jeez Chloe you're such a convincer."

"Thanks, I got it from my dad."

We start walking back to the office and go inside to see Mal and Evie talking.

"We'll do it."

I say

I hope I don't regret this.
