Which one leads to another

                                   Reds pov

Chloe and I were waiting with a crowd of people waiting for the original vks return. I thought it was stupid.

"Chloe why do we have to be here. Most of us don't even know them."

"Red stop it, it's out of respect, plus they're making peace across kingdoms."
She said excitedly while smiling at me.

I couldn't help but smile and roll my eyes. When she gives me those stupid eyes I can't help myself but smile.

"Can we just go to a bench or a balcony on the castle? It's getting crowded."
Chloe looked around knowing I was right.

"But I wanna stay close to the action."

"What is their to do, all were doing is standing and waiting."

Chloe and I got pushed together because of the crowd. I put my arm around her waist to not feel as suffocated.

"Omg red look they're here!"

I look at the road and see a giant limo pull up. Soon came out mal, Evie, jay, prince Ben, and a dog.

"A dog?"

"Awww red he's so cute."

"Chloe aren't you literally allergic?"

She gives me a slight nudge. I was so focused on Chloe I didn't realize mal walking right up to me

"You're the queen of hearts daughter, Red right?"

I immediately let go of Chloe and fixed my composure.

"Uh yes, yes I am."

She looks at Chloe. I don't know mal so I immediately grab Chloe's hand and hold it behind our backs.

"And you're Cinderellas daughter, Chloe I'm guessing."

"Yeah that's right!"

"Red, I've heard so many great things about your mom. And I was wondering if we could talk later, with Chloe present of course. "

I look at Chloe and she looks at me.

"We accept. "

I said hesitantly but Chloe seemed over the moon.

      
                                  Chloe's pov

Red and I finally left and went back to my dorm. I'm so excited to hang out with the vks!

"I don't want to meet with the vks."

Red seemed anxious. I'm gonna figure out why.

"Well its gonna be so much fun!"

"Chloe don't you get it? It's not a hang out it's a meeting."

"Well mal didn't say it was a meeting."

"She never said it was a hang out either! what part of  'I want to talk later with you'. Says yeah let's hang out!

"Red,

I stand up and give her a hug.

Calm down. "

"I am calm. "

She wraps her arms around me and we just hug. I would label me and red as clingy. Were always holding hands, eachother, were inseparable. And it makes me feel even better that she only tolerates it from me.

I hear her heartbeat accelerating.

"Your hearts beating faster."

She smells like cherries. But like sweet cherries. Her scent reminds me of how sweet she really is.

"I'm just nervous."

"Why are you nervous red?"

I look up at her waiting for a response about the vks. She looks down and adjusts her hands on my waist and looks into my eyes, our faces inches apart.

"Because what if they know something we don't Chloe. What if they know we went back in time and messed with time."

The tension in the room grows so thick it deafens my ears. I feel her breathing against my body. I can feel her grip on my waist.

"That's impossible red, no one else teleported with us. You said yourself Maddox made only one time machine."

"Nothings impossible princess, Maddox isn't the only one in the world to have a great mind."

Princess. She reminds me of my mom and my dad. All the names she calls me, how happy we are together, how good we work and how safe I feel around her.

I notice red look at the time.

"Oh shoot sorry clo I gotta go back to my dorm."

She let go of me and started walking out.

"Bye princess."
"Bye red."
