"Good morning sweetie! Come on in!" the warm and inviting tone belonging to Mrs Han lifting Saneul's dampened spirits.

It has been about 3 weeks since Taesan started practicing hard, and before they knew it, it was already time for Thanksgiving. Saneul was invited to join the Han family for their thanksgiving dinner after Mrs Han heard the heart breaking news of her being left alone during the holidays.

"Nice to see you again Mrs Han! Thank you for inviting me for your family dinner, I hope I'm not intruding or anything." Saneul greeted, placing the fresh bouquet of flowers she got for their family in one of the vase Mrs Han has prepared.

"Nonsense, you are always welcomed to join us." Mrs Han said, closing the main door as she helped Saneul to arrange her coat on the rack.

"How's Yerin? She's starting her final year soon right?"

"She's been doing well recently. How is Taesan doing? We haven't really heard much from him, you know how adults are once they go to university." Mrs Han chuckled as she mentioned her elder son.

The question caused Saneul's smile to falter slightly. She greeted Yerin and Mr Han who sat in the living room watching TV.

"He's been pretty busy lately, preparing for the performances with the group is a lot of hard work so I haven't really seen or heard much from him lately."

Saneul went to join the two in the living room, sitting down next to Yerin who greeted her upon her arrival. Mrs Han placed down a plate full of snacks for Saneul as she went back in the kitchen to prepare the dishes for dinner.

Mr Han hummed knowingly. "Taesan's schedule is getting packed but we're proud of him for being able to achieve something so big with his friends."

Saneul nodded in agreement, knowing how hard the boys have practiced to be able to make it this far.

"How about you? Is everything going well?" Mr Han inquired.

"It's going well! The new collection with Acutebi is coming out in a few days actually. I hope everyone likes it."

"Don't worry, they will definitely love it! Even Yerin bought clothes from the brand after seeing you endorse it."

"Really? Yerin you could've told me! I could've just given you a few pieces from the brand!" she turned to face Yerin, slightly nudging her arm.

"It's okay, really! I wanted the clothes for myself too, don't worry about it. How are things with you and my brother?" Yerin asked.

"Is he treating you well? He better be." Mr Han added on.

"Don't worry, he is treating me very well. Honestly, there is nothing that I can fault him for. You both raised him to be an amazing person."

"Well aren't you just the sweetest, your parents definitely raised you well too."

Saneul almost burst out laughing after that statement. Oh if only they knew the true nature of my parents.

She tried to smile it off but decided to quickly change the topic. The three of them started talking about everything and nothing at the same time. At one point, Mrs Han came to join in all the chaos. Laughing together, sharing jokes. It was something Saneul found so unusual as her own household never shared moments like this.

"Taesan was a really mischievous baby. There was once I told him if he doesn't eat his eggplant, he can't call me mom anymore. But he hated eggplants so much that he said 'Okay, ma'am'. Can you believe this child?" Mrs Han said, a look full of fondness as she flipped through the photo album full of his childhood pictures.
