It has been a week since the breakup and the school break was ending soon. During the 7 days that she spent locked up in her room, she tried her best to film content, pretending she was happy in front of the camera when in actual fact she felt like breaking down. And it seemed like her followers began to notice a shift in her demeanour.

User1: Is Saneul okay? She seems sad recently :(
User2: Did something happen to Saneul?
User3: Omg she looks so tired... I hope you are resting well Saneul! <3
User4: Do you think something happened in her relationship? She hasn't been posting him as often
User5: @user4 omg you might be right,, maybe they broke up?
User6: @user5 NO WAY T.T THEY CAN'T BREAK UP! THEY ARE SO CUTE TOGETHER!!

Muting her notifications, Saneul placed her phone facing down on her bed. Her head resting comfortably on Jinny's lap as the girl gently gave her a scalp massage.

"You know what? Honestly screw him, you don't need him when you have me and the other girls. If I see him on campus I'll square him up!" Jinny said, pinching her best friend's cheek in an attempt to cheer her up.

The breakup wound was still fresh and hurt like a bitch but of course it was not something that would heal in a blink of an eye.

Saneul chuckled a little, squirming away from Jinny's hold of her cheeks. She turned around on Jinny's lap and circled her arms around Jinny's waist trapping her in a hug as the older girl started stroking her hair in a comforting manner.

"I don't want him to get hurt though..."

"After all that and you are still such an angel huh? But I'll still send glares his way, I don't care." Jinny said in a joking manner. "Uhm... have you... have you thought about talking to each other? I mean.. It's been a week and we've heard nothing from him..."

"I don't know.. Myungjae says he's been busy.. something about locking himself in the studio or practice room..." Saneul sniffled. "You know.. I thought nothing would hurt more than whatever trauma I went through with my family... but I'm wrong... A heartbreak hurts even more..." she murmured.

"Who would've thought the great Saneul would be crying over a boy now?"

"Right? Picture me during high school, and imagine me telling you that I'd be crying over a boy in the future."

"Wow if I heard you say this back then I'd think you'd gone insane"

"You know... I've been doing a lot of thinking for the past week.."

"Oh I'm sure you have," Jinny said rolling her eyes in a teasing manner as Saneul lightly jabbed at her sides making Jinny flail about. "Okay, okay I get it, so what have you been thinking about?"

"Well... I miss him of course.. But after thinking back, maybe he was right after all.. at one point it did feel as if my past was slowly coming back to haunt me, as if I was being a burden to him, and his absence the past few weeks just made me feel lonely."

"Shut up- the both of you are such idiots. I wish the both of you could just see how perfect you are for each other... If only he didn't have those year-end performances.."

"Who knows? Maybe those performances were basically giving me a teaser of how our relationship would be like if he actually started doing this full time. A taste of how the relationship would've been in the future."

Jinny nodded, still lightly stroking Saneul's hair as they sat there in the comfort of the room.

"You know... I'm not suppose to tell you this but.. He's been texting me everyday to ask about you.. since the very first day you guys broke up actually."
