Kasey's POV
I walked out of the school building finally taking a breath of clean fresh air. As I stumbled over to Sam's car I noticed an oddity. Tyler. He parked directly to the right of Sam so she would have to walk past his car as she entered her vehicle. Tyler was already propped up on his hood waiting for Sam to come out to the car.Sam exited the building slowly and walked straight toward her car. When she noticed Tyler, she put her head down and tried to skate by him. As she approached the car he hopped off the hood and stuck his arm out to stop her. She pushed his arm down, and in that very moment he pushed her against his car and lifted a hand up her romper. She squirmed and didn't look him in the eye.
"Um... Hello? Let her go and let's go Sam." I blurted.
"Excuse me?" Tyler turned letting go of Sam for a brief second.
Sam darted for the car and made it into the drivers seat. She shut and locked the doors leaving me stuck. She reached over the seat and unlocked my door. I slid in and relocked the door.Tyler propped himself up on the hood of Sam's car. Sam started the engine and he didn't move. Then she pulled out of the spot, he didn't move. She drove about 10 feet then stopped violently sending Tyler rolling off the hood, she backed up immediately and drove out of the parking lot.
She pulled into her driveway and took a deep breath before pulling the keys out of the ignition and walking toward the house.
"Sam!" I yelled before she could enter the house.
"What?" She retorted.
"What about Jailynn you have to get her from school."
"Can you just go get her? Here are the keys," she tossed me the keys, "thank you."
I drove off to get Jailynn from school.Sam's POV
I walked into the house and set my purse down in the kitchen and poured myself a glass of water. Dave walked through the archway into the kitchen. I turned around and propped myself onto the counter. I turned to Dave and asked, "How do I shake a guy that still loves me, but I don't love anymore."
"Are you talking about Tyler?" He asked.
"No just talking in general," he again saw straight through my thin words to the truth, "I don't know what to do anymore."
"Well obviously you are stuck in a pretty sticky situation. You need to sit down, alone, with Tyler and let him know how you really feel. Go to dinner with him or maybe go get ice cream but you need to tell him the truth."
"Alright I will try to make plans with him sometime soon."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sam's POV
I took out my phone and texted Tyler.
"Hey" I said.
"Hi" he said
"We need to talk"
"Ok"
"Want to go to dinner?"
"Sure"
"Can you come get me? Kasey has my car."
"Of course."
Tyler pulled up in the driveway and I walked out the door and told Dave Kasey would be home soon with Jailynn.
I hopped in the car and Tyler drove to Scribner's: Beach Bar and Grill.Everything seemed to go over well during dinner.
"I think we need boundaries Tyler, I am not your girlfriend, and I'm not your toy."
"Ok" he replied.
"Alright" I said finishing up my dinner and standing up to leave. We walked to the car. As we drove home I guided Tyler back to my house, at one of the final turns Tyler veered off the road and onto a side street.
"Tyler you are going the wrong way."
"Shut up."
"Tyler bring me home."
"No."
