**** SORRY ITS BEEN SO LONG I AM TRYING TO UPDATE MORE REGULARLY*****

Sam's POV
Tyler pulled over on the side of the deserted highway and popped the glove box, revealing a revolver. I stared at him for a minute looking back between him and the gun.
"We can do this the easy way or my way." Tyler said, with bloodshot eyes and disheveled hair.
"I don't take the easy path... I never will." I responded.
Tyler reached over my body, grabbed the gun, and pointed it at my head.

I literally saw my life flash before my eyes.

Kasey and I were unpacking my car loading the clothes into the house we had bought that day at the mall. I remember it like it was yesterday. As I grabbed a dress and spun away from my car to walk toward the house I heard, "Can I help you with that?" he said as he came to a slow jog passing my car, then matching his pace to my walk alongside me.
I looked at him up and down and noticed that he was the cute boy I had constantly seen running through the halls.  I let him help me carry my belongings to the house. His witty charm and enthusiasm captivated me and changed my perspective. We walked into the house and he placed the bags on my bed.  He seemed to look around letting out a small laugh.
"What is it?" I remember questioning him.
"I love the pink bunny," he said gesturing my stuffed animal sitting on my bed.
I remember being so embarrassed.  What teenage girl has a stuffed bunny? That night when he left, I gave all my childish belongings to Jailynn, never thinking twice about it.
I guess I should have known, it was too good to be true. There is no fairytale like he tried to show me. Little did I know that day, that boy would try to kill me in this moment.

I was brought back to reality when I felt him push the barrel of the gun against my skull.

My eyes semi glazed over, turned to him, I felt a tear coming on. No. I wouldn't be weak. I wouldn't break down. I took in a breath. I sighed and let out a laugh only to feel the handle of the gun hit my skull violently. That's when it all went dark.

I remember feeling woozy as I thought I was coming back to reality. I was far from reality. I saw Tyler carrying flowers to my front door on the night of Prom. I saw us waltz out the door together. I saw us having fun. There was no stopping the way I felt.  He made me feel so good about myself.  The party at Prom was nothing compared to the Party he gave me that night. It was an out of body experience. Little did I know someone who made me feel so infinite, could steal the life out of me within seconds.
I felt a wet feeling on my face, I thought it had started to rain in my delusions. No. Tyler poured a bottle of water on me so I would wake up. As I came to, the gun was no longer against my skull but in his lap. I shook the water off my face and stared around at my wet clothes.

"Well you're back I see." he retorted. "Let's get you out of those wet clothes," he said smirking at me.

I shivered when he ripped my blouse open, and unclipped my bra leaving me exposed. I denied him the attention he wanted from performing this act. I decided to stare out the window. This only made him angry. I felt my cheek tingle as a hard slap came down across it. I winced in pain and looked up at Tyler.

"Don't ignore me bitch" he said abruptly.

I gave him a weak smile and continued to stare out the window.

"Look at me"

"Why would I give you the satisfaction."

"This still holds all the power," as he motions to the revolver still sitting in his lap.

"If you were going to shoot me would've already done it."

"You may be right, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to use you, remember? I will be your first, your last, your everything."

"You don't have the balls."

"Just you wait little missy." he smirked at himself and grazed my cheek with his knuckles.

My phone rang from the backseat, I had forgotten all about my phone until this moment.

Tyler reached for it and declined the call before realizing it was my mother. He then responded quickly, with a text.

Hey mom, what's up?

Hey sweetie don't be home too late, the door is unlocked, it's already 9:30 be home within the half hour! Let's not have a repeat of last time. Love you xoxoxo -Mom

Tyler glanced at me then at the text and just proceeded to cuss under his breath.

"What happened last time?" he asked.

"I was home 20 minutes late and my mom called the cops, there was a case file and missing persons report within 20 minutes." I said.

He started the truck and began to drive. Tossing me my phone.

I took my phone out opening the camera on accident, noticing a large egg on my forehead. fuck. Was all I could think. What would I do, what would I say? My top! It's disheveled across my body and I can't walk in like this! All I could pray is that no one was awake when I walked into the house. I repeatedly went over my plan of entering my house. Tyler turned his headlights off and pulled into my drive.

"I'm coming in," he said.

"What makes you think such a thing?" I retorted.

"I'm not giving you any option."

"Tyler I said no," I said flatly.

"Samantha I didn't ask for your permission."

I shook my head, jumped out of the car, and paced over to my door. I reached my door before Tyler had even left the truck, I shook the door handle. Thank god! Was all I could think. The door was unlocked, I slipped inside and locked the door behind me.

I sighed in relieve, but jumped when I heard the door knob moving. I ran to the door and deadbolted it shut and scanned the house to lock all the doors and windows.

What has it come to when I am afraid to be in my own home.

I walked down the hall and slipped into my room right as my parents bedroom opened, "Honey? Is that you?" my mom called.

"Yeah it's me mom!" I replied.

"Ok sweetie! Goodnight!"

Once the door shut, I quietly made my way to the kitchen and grabbed an ice pack. I climbed back into bed and laid the ice over the swelled lump on my forehead. That's gonna be a rough one to explain tomorrow.
