Tyler's POV
I walked up to the doorstep.
Jiggled the door handle.
Walked away.
Back to my car to grab my keys, incoherently mumbling.
I reached above my mirror to grab my spare keys, startled by my appearance.
Hair disheveled, sweat dripping down my shirt, eyes insanely bloodshot. A tear fell from my eye, seeing myself like this over a stupid girl. I don't understand, I can't control myself. How could I be so disheveled and sweaty when I haven't drank a drop of anything in the past 2 days? I stumbled out of the car into the black night.
I walked incoherently trying to make my way to the doorstep. My feet felt heavy, and I couldn't steady my breath.
I somehow ended in the grass, knowing I wasn't walking toward the door, I turned back toward the car, still unable to see anything.
I tripped and fell, but rose again, struggling to stand upon my feet. I finally found the stairs, but couldn't find the key hole. I turned to try again and misplaced my foot on the steps.
I tumbled backwards into the lawn and it all faded out.
Sam's POV
I must have dosed off last night with the ice on my head because I woke up with a bag full of water on my head. The strange thing is, I couldn't feel my head, I felt out of it. I wanted to go back to sleep because that is where my head still was. But my body moved. It felt like a true out-of-body experience. I felt like I had no control over my body. I wanted to scream and cry, but my mind wouldn't tell my mouth to do anything but walk. I got to the kitchen and my mom nearly screamed at me.
Snapping me from whatever trans I was in."What the hell happened to you?!" She yelled in terror.
"Um what?" I asked oblivious to her question.
"Well you have a huge bump on your head. It's the size of a baseball. We are going to the hospital."
"I'm ok I promise I'll be fine!"
"What happened?"
"I don't kno-"
I cut myself off when my knees began to buckle and I hit the floor. I heard a snap and my eyes shut. The next thing I remember is waking up in a ambulance, I saw blood and my mom was crying.
