Following this, Soundwave disengages from the satellite he was mounted on, allowing himself to fall to Earth's atmosphere, rendezvous with Barricade and Sideways, obtaining an Earth-based vehicle mode quickly upon entry. they instructed to search the island for communications towers, all of which contain intelligence on the location of the island base.
They find one, and Soundwave gains the necessary intel from it, before heading towards the second, which is a larger distance away, all the while, engaging Autobot forces throughout the island. He gains ground with his Ultrasound ability, which destroys electronic barriers that would usually keep him out. The Autobot presence increases as Soundwave nears the second tower, and as Soundwave interacts with it, a Titan and a small force approach him. He uses all of his abilities and weaponry to destroy them, before moving forward, and entering a volcanic wasteland.
Soundwave, Barricade and Sideways engage multiple Autobots in the charred Earth, and eventually finds their way into the facility, Soundwave dispatching Laserbeak, Buzzsaw and Ratbat forward, to infiltrate the facility, in order to find ways to destroy it. Laserbeak, Buzzsaw and Ratbat successfully kills multiple Autobot guards, whilst exposing certain weaknesses in the building to Soundwave, Barricade and Sideways who ends up destroying them with ease.
As they successfully destroying the facility they fight against Elita One and Chromia as they killed of Buzzsaw and Ratbat. As they are defeated, the explosion interrupt Soundwave, Barricade and Sideways' execution and let the two female Autobots escape. While Barricade and Sideways has new orders from Megatron.
