X-Mansion, Westchester NY.
Tempest's POV:
Charles suggested I should start writing in this little journal.. He says it'll help me gather my thoughts and calm down. I think I ought to give it a try, sounds like it might help!
It's been a nice couple of days since I was taken in by Mr. Xavier. He's been helpful in so many ways that I can barely count. He's helped me control my anger and relearn some manners so I can take some classes in his school! I've decided to stick around for a while, I mean, what could go wrong? I'm safe, I'm happy, and I've got friends now! There's this really nice girl named Rogue in my class, and we talk at lunch and everything! There's also the people I first met, like Mrs. Jean and Mr. Scott. I don't really talk to them much since they're usually busy teaching but we get to chat sometimes. I'm not sure about one of them though.. the one who calls himself Logan. He's sort of a mystery, always keeping to himself or going out of the mansion on Mr. Scott's motorcycle. I don't really pay attention to him but I do feel kinda bad.. it doesn't seem he has many social skills.
Don't tell Mr. Xavier, but I did overhear him and Logan talking. It seems he can't remember things.. kind of like me. I can remember how to read and write and speak and stuff, but my past is kind of an enigma. Maybe he's grumpy all the time because he can't remember his past either. I wonder if I'll ever get to actually speak to him fully, though I doubt he has time for that. I don't want to be rude and interrupt him anyways.
Anyways, I need to get to class. Being late isn't exactly polite now is it?
