my first session of therapy

I arrived at the police department from last night and began my job. I approached the front desk and was about to begin when I was pulled away by Eddie?!

Y/N: what are you doing here Brock?

Eddie: someone has to teach you how investigative journalism works. First off, you don't alert the people you're investigating. For example, the front desk of a police department. Instead you have just sit nearby and spy on them.

We exited the building and went through the backdoor. I noticed Brock hand something to the guards but I couldn't see what it was. The guards let us past and we began sneaking around. First we avoided officers talking over coffee in the break room. Then we entered the computer room and Eddie noticed something.

Eddie: y/n, look at this.

He pointed at a computer that had various incident reports listed on it.

Y/N: all of these are incidents involving the punisher.

We quickly hid in an adjacent room as the computer owner returned. He quickly moved the files onto a flash drive.

We followed behind as he entered the cremation room and tossed it in a fire.

We quickly escaped through the window to the outside as a worker entered after the flash drive thrower and brought in a body. I recognized it as one of the people from the punisher fight. The worker wrote down gang war as cause of death and moved the body to the furnace.

We quickly left.

A few hours later I was called into Jonah's office with Brock.

Jonah: care to explain why I just got a call from the chief of police about you two trespassing on police property?

Y/N: I thought you were the one who suggested it?

Jonah: of course I suggested it!! I just expecting you to fuck it up. Y/N you are back to photographer!!! But I am exceptionally disappointed especially you Eddie.

Eddie: huh?

Jonah: you are our best investigative reporter how you were caught is beyond me. I will expect you both to take accountability. I will join you, of course.

Y/n: of course Jonah. But I request you allow us to write the article.

Jonah: did you find something?

Y/N: a lot actually.

Jonah looked at a newspaper on his wall and smiled.

Jonah: of course L/n.

Y/N: thank you boss.

Jonah: you two can go home and get some sleep.

I headed home and got to work on my computer and started talking with Eddie on the phone.

Eddie: I didn't think you were dedicated to the story.

Y/N: this one's personal to me.

After two hours we had the beginning outline.

Eddie: that's enough for today. We start digging Tomorrow.

Y/N: thanks for your help Eddie.

Eddie: your welcome.

I turned the computer off and went to bed. When I awoke next morning I got dressed and entered the therapist office.
