Chapter 6: Colston Castle Sleepover

Amber's POV

It's been a long time since we had sleepovers with our friends, I remember we used to do sleepovers when we were in Royal Prep. "Do you have everything you need?" asks Baileywick with a list in his hand. "Sofia, you forgot this," Baileywick passes Sofia her favorite soft toy, she can't sleep without that.

We head off to Closton. "Did Hugo write you back when we said yes to his invitation?" I ask. "Yes, yes he did but he didn't mention who he was inviting besides the three of us," says Sofia but she noted in Hugo's letter that he has something for the two of them to hang out. Since Hugo and Sofia started dating, I could see their relationship is starting to get stronger than before. I'm happy for her!

Colston

Hugo's POV

There they are! All my friends from Royal Prep are coming for a sleepover but the first to arrive is the Enchancian siblings. "Guess you have the time to see Sofia before the rest of your friends arrive," teases Axel. "Welcome to Colston!" says Axel. "Greetings, Princes Axel and Hugo," Princesses Amber and Sofia curtsy to me and Axel. I wink at Sofia and she giggles. The servants help them to bring their suitcases in and I'm not surprised Amber's is the most among the three of them.

Soon, the other royals arrived, especially the friends I made on the hokey team. "Derek, nice to see you again!" I say. "You too, Hugo!" says Derek. I saw him checking on Sofia, "Derek, no can't do! The youngest Princess of Enchancia is mine!" I say. "Wait, since when you two got together?" asks Derek.

James came to my rescue, "Hugo and Sofia got together at the graduation party. You heard him, Derek! My sister is taken by the Prince of Colston!" James patted my back. "Okay, I'll leave you two to talk but promise not to start a fight," I say as I see Desmond coming out from his coach.

"Hey Desmond, have you caught up with Amber yet?" I ask Desmond. "Not yet. She's talking to the other princesses," he says. And speaking of Princesses, where's Sofia by the way?

Sofia's POV

I didn't know that Hugo invited everyone from Royal Prep and I headed over to see Vivian. "Hi, Viv! How are you and how is Crackle?" I hug her. "Sofia! Hey, I'm good too! It's kind of Hugo to host this sleepover before all of us start our new school in just a few weeks!" says Vivian excitedly.

I'm about to say something, I feel someone is towering me from the back. "Hi, Vivian! Sofia!" I can feel the warmth from Hugo's body heat. "So, is this what you want to tell me?" Vivian looks at me and Hugo. "Uh.... one of them yes! Hugo and I are together now. We snuck out of the graduation party and that's it," I say.

Vivian hugs me, "Sofia, I'm happy for you!"

"You're the second to know besides Desmond," I say. I want to say something more but Axel's voice cuts off my thoughts. "Everyone, why not head inside to have some hot cocoa," everyone heads inside. "Um, Hugo, how long you are going to cuddle? Don't you feel cold?" I ask. "No, as long as you're here, I wanna cuddle for the rest of our lives. Come Sofia, let's head in," Hugo takes my hand as we go inside. We are talking, and King Garrick comes up to us and he wants to see Hugo. "I'll see you later" I whisper but I get pulled back by Hugo. Can he just stop pulling me back?

Hugo's POV 

Sofia wants me to have father-and-son time but I think she should meet my dad as my partner. She wants to go off but I pull her back, and she rolls her eyes. "Hi, Dad!" I greet Dad, "Hey, champ! Hello, Princess Sofia!" Sofia curtsies to Dad. She's so elegant! "Dad, I know you have met Sofia a few times but this time I'm inviting her as my partner and meeting the family," I say. "You know, princess, Hugo has been telling me a lot about you since you two got on ice dancing, and I have a better understanding of my boy! You helped us with our bond and Hugo is lucky to have you as his partner. You can come to Colston anytime, Sofia!" says Dad.
