Roy Group is a conglomerate established by the visionary Harshavardhan Roy. Now retired, he laid the foundation of the business empire with a vision for excellence that has transcended generations. His late wife Parvathi Roy had been a great support to him. They had 2 sons.

Vaibhav, the elder son, has taken on the mantle of leadership within Roy Group. He is currently the chairman of the business empire. His wife Sharmila is also a part of the company working as a strategic manager. They share 2 children. Armaan, the ambitious and accomplished CEO of Roy Group, represents the future of the business. Avantika, their daughter, is an established fashion designer who got married recently to Shravan Mehra.

Vikram, the second son, works as a legal advisor. His wife, Sakshi is also a well-known attorney. Both contribute to the diversification and growth of the conglomerate through their legal advice. They have a son named Aryan, who recently took up the charge as CFO.

The weekend brunch at the Roy house is filled with warmth and the enticing aroma of freshly prepared dishes. The air is filled with a sense of togetherness as everyone takes their seats. Sharmila kicks off the conversation.

Sharmila: "Armaan, how was the business meeting in Delhi? Any exciting developments?"

Armaan: "Yes Mom. We have finalized the deal with Sharma's. Aryan stayed back to finalize some documents."

As the brunch progresses, Vaibhav and Sharmila exchange glances, silently affirming their decision to bring up the alliance proposal with the Rajans. Vaibhav clears his throat, capturing the family's attention,

Vaibhav: "There's something important we'd like to discuss. Last week, at the business party, we met Amarendra Rajan and his daughter Aditi. We proposed an alliance between our families, Armaan and Aditi's marriage proposal."

Harshavardhan: "Aditi? We don't know much about her. How can you consider such a proposal?"

Sharmila: "Papa, we met Aditi. She is a nice girl and will make a great daughter-in-law for our family. That's why we believe Armaan and Aditi should get to know each other better."

Vaibhav: "Exactly, Papa. We thought it's a good opportunity for Armaan to meet Aditi and see if there's potential for a meaningful connection."

Armaan, taking a moment to contemplate, responds, "I appreciate your honesty, Mom, and Dad. I need some time to think about it."

The room falls momentarily silent as the family processes the unfolding dynamics.

Later in the day, Sharmila knocks on Armaan's room door; and upon entering, she finds him engrossed in his thoughts. She takes a seat beside him,

"Armaan, may I have a moment?"

"Of course, Mom."

"It's about Aditi. She's an impressive young woman with a brilliant mind and a heart full of ambition. Her poised demeanour is truly commendable."

"You've certainly done your research, Mom. What's your perspective on all of this?"

"Armaan, I believe this could be a meaningful connection, not just for our families but for both you and Aditi. I know the idea might be overwhelming, but I truly believe that meeting her might provide a clearer picture. It's about exploring possibilities, and your happiness is our priority."

"I've been thinking about it, and I'm willing to give it a chance. Let's arrange a meeting with Aditi. I'd like to get to know her and see where this leads."

"Thank you for considering it. We'll coordinate with the Rajans and arrange a meeting. Just be yourself, and let's see how things unfold."

After a few days, Aditi and Armaan met each other in a coffee shop.

Armaan: "Aditi, it's a pleasure to meet you. Your reputation as an astute financial mind precedes you."

Aditi: "Thank you, Armaan. Likewise, I've heard great things about your leadership at the Roy Group."

Armaan: "Well, it's a team effort, but I appreciate the kind words. So, tell me, what drives you?"

Aditi: "Ah, the classic interview question! Well, apart from balance sheets and profit margins, I'm passionate about innovation. I believe in finding creative solutions to financial challenges. And you?"

Armaan: "Innovation resonates with me too. But beyond that, I'm committed to making a positive impact. The Roy Group isn't just about profits; it's about leaving a legacy."

Aditi: "Impressive. And what about hobbies? When you're not crunching numbers, what do you enjoy?"

Just like that, the duo continued chatting sharing their interests, and laughed over silly anecdotes.
