Winter
It took the family three days to fully settle into their new home. Despite having most of what they needed, there were still a few items they had to purchase to complete their setup. The monster materials they had gathered during their travel had been sold, providing them with the funds necessary to buy everything on their list.
At the moment, Winter was out with Mythia, exploring the bustling streets of Albiore. The transition from their rural life to the capital city was more than just a change in surroundings; it also meant adjusting their wardrobe to fit the city's standards. In Albiore, proper ladies were expected to wear floor-length dresses, a stark contrast to the trousers and dress shirts they had been accustomed to.
As they wandered through the vibrant shopping district, Winter marveled at the elegant dresses displayed in the shop windows. The gowns were a feast for the eyes, with flowing fabrics, intricate lacework, and delicate embellishments that glittered under the sunlight.
Instead of visiting the high-end boutiques that showcased elaborate and costly gowns, Mythia and Winter opted for a more modest approach. They made their way to a simple tailor shop, known for its practical and well-crafted garments. The shop was humble and unpretentious, reflecting the straightforward needs of its clientele.
Upon entering the shop, they were greeted by the soft hum of a sewing machine and the scent of fresh fabric. The tailor, a kind and experienced woman, looked up with a welcoming smile.
"Anong maitutulong ko sa inyo mga binibini?" she asked, setting aside her work.
Mythia, who had a practical approach to their needs, spoke up. Mayroon ba kayo noon?"
The tailor nodded understandingly.
Winter and Mythia browsed through the selection of fabrics and patterns, choosing materials that were soft and comfortable. They selected designs that were floor-length but maintained a modest and straightforward style, avoiding unnecessary frills or heavy embellishments.
The tailor took their measurements and discussed the details of their choices, ensuring the dresses would meet both the aesthetic and functional requirements. Although they weren't fond of dresses, Mythia and Winter appreciated the tailor's attentiveness and skill in creating garments that balanced the capital's fashion with their comfort needs.
As Mythia spoke with the tailor, she explained the reason behind their decision to move to the capital.
