We talked to the school. Had to tell them that Tony was my uncle and I would live with him, but still attending all of the classes. They didn't cooperate at first, but I told them my parents will call tomorrow and explain everything since I didn't have much time right now. After a lot of negotiation, they finally accepted.

When we got out of the school, it was already dark outside. The air smelled like cold and mud and a freezing wind brushed against my face. I didn't care. I was finally leaving this horrifying place! God, I felt like I wanted to run around like a child! Then a thought punched my heart.

...But what is my parents didn't agree and I had to return to this place? The fear clenched my stomach and I grimaced.

"You good?" asked Tony, distracted, typing something on his phone.

"Yeah, I just...what if my parents don't let me live with you guys? I never told them what happened to me here and I don't think I can after all this time..."

He gazed up at me.

"Geez, kid, do you know how often I recruit sarcastic and slightly annoying 14-year old kids to be Avengers? Almost never. You're the second and last one, believe me. So screw your parents right now, let's just get home and eat." he replied, opening the door to the helicopter.

I raised my eyebrows. He realized he said a cuss word, so he nervously tried to fix his mistake.

"Uh-I mean...Eh, the hell with it, you've heard people swear before" he said casually.

"Yeah, but not about my parents!" I replied.

"Well, get used to it. As long as I'm around, nobody's parents are excused."

I rolled my eyes and smiled as I got in the helicopter.
