"You look cute dear, date night?" Rosie asked when she walked into Alastors room seeing him in black trousers, a red shirt and a black suit jacket.

"Yes, he's cooking dinner tonight" he said. "Am i doing the right thing?..."

"Well... do you love him?" Rosie asked as she laid on his bed.

"Not yet... but i believe i could.." Alastor sighed adjusting his jacket.

"Vox understood... hell Vox helped. And Lucifer seems a lot sweeter and more understanding, im sure he wont hate you when he finds out"

"Lucifer is not vox. Vox understood because hes psychopathic, Lucifers much more innocent"

"Alastor..." he looked at her "youre soulmates... he'll understand"

"You of all people Rosie should understand soulmates dont always work out"

"I have a good feeling about you two though" she smiled. "Now go enjoy your night, am i expecting you home tonight?" She smirked.

"Who knows" he shrugged and left.

"Dad it smells so good im sure he'll love it" charlie smiled watching her father put the food in the oven and she sat on the counter swinging her legs. "So am i allowed to ask questions yet?" She giggled.

Lucifer looked at the clock "you have 5 minutes go"

"Yes! Okay are you guys officially together?"

"Yes we are"

"Oh my god! How long!!"

"We started dating 2 months ago and we started offically being a couple the night you found us which was a week ago now"

"Are you happy?" She leant fowards.

"Yes. I havent felt like this since your mother"

"Do you love him?"

"I think im starting to, yes.." lucifer smiles to himself thinking about him and alastor before looking back up to the clock "30 seconds left"

"Okay..." she thought "is he your soulmate?..."

Lucifer looked at her and sighed "yeah... weve known that since the day we met... but we wanted to take it slow, he doesn't believe in soulmates.."

"Do you still believe in them?" She tilted her head a little.

"Yes... ive seen you and vaggie, angel and husker... and ive connected with alastor in a way i never thought i could... so yes i believe in them" he smiled "time up kiddo, i gotta ask you to leave before he gets here"

"Okay im going" she giggled and hugged him "im happy for you dad" she whispered before leaving making a large genuine smile spread across his face.

Less than 10 minutes later the doorbell rang and Lucifer practically ran to the door opening it and smiling brightly.

"Bonjour mon amour" Alastor was stood their holding a bouquet of red and white roses making Lucifers eyes water immediately, them shining brighter blue than usual.

"Hey bambi" he smiled and kissed him before welcoming him in ad taking the flowers.

"Bambi?" He asked as they entered.

"Oh yeah i was talking to Rosie and she said you looked like a deer" he took alastors jacket at hung it up "and i agreed and now its stuck" he smiled.

"Okay then" he laughed slightly "it smells amazing in here"

"Oh yeah i wasnt sure what you wanted and i forgot to go shopping because ive been helping Charlie with wedding planning all day so i threw together what i could find, so we have jambalaya"
