Lucifer quickly finished wrapping up the small red box, very proud of himself as he smiled at it finishing the black bow.

"Perfect" he placed it on the table along with the card.

There was a knock at the door and he quickly ran to open it.

"Hey bambi" he smiled.

"Bonjour mon amour" alastor smiled holding a boquet of lillies, lucifers favourite flowers. "For you" he smiled and passed them to the short blonde.

"Thank you" lucifer reached up and pecked his lips "happy one year"

"to you too mon amour" he walked in and laid his jacket over the back of the couch before joining lucifer on it.

"How was work last night?" Lucifer asked and Alastor frowned

"I wasnt at wor-OH!"

Lucifer smiled and alastor followed suit "easy and clean as usual" he kissed the top of Lucifers head. "now,Food or gifts first?"

"Gifts!" Lucifer said excitedly

Alastor laughed "okay okay, do you want to go first or shall i?" He asked.

"Ill go first!" Lucifer said pushing a small, nicely wrapped gift towards alastor.

Alastor raised an eyebrow and unwrapped it revealing a box. "What is this?..."

"Just open it"

Alastor lifted the lid and inside was a set of keys with a small keychain that had a photo if them on it. "What-"

"Its for my house... well... our house" lucifer looked at him nervously.

"Y-youre asking me to move in?.." alastor stared in shock.

"Yeah... if you want to of course"

"Yes" alastor put the keys down and looked at him "i would absolutely love to move in" he smiled widely and lucifer rushed to climb into his lap and kiss him.

"Really?..." he smiled teary eyed.

"Of course mon amour" alastor laughed and wiped his thumb across lucifers face. "I love you"

"I love you too" he kissed him once more before sitting back down.

"Do you want your gift?" He asked.

"Yes!" Lucifer clapped as alastor handed him a gift bag. "Oh?.." he opened it and looked at it "oh... its a rubber duck" he smiled "thanks"

Sure lucifer loved rubber ducks but he was expecting a bit more for their first year anniversary, especially since he just asked alastor to move in with him.

"Its not just a rubber duck, it blows bubbles, take it outside!" Alastor smiled brightly making lucifer feel even worse for not liking it.

"Oh... okay.." he nodded and went to the back door.

He opened the door and stepped out onto the decking. "What the-..." the garden was beautifully decorated. fairy lights hung from the trees, and the love seat swing was covered in pillows. There were candles in the shape of a love heart and rose petals everywhere. "Al what is this?-" lucifer turned back around and gasped.

Alastor sat there on one knee holding up a small box with a glistening gold and red ring sat centred.

"Lucifer i never believed in soulmates. Then you came along. I felt something the day i met you and its only gotten stronger with each day. I love you... will you marry me?..."

"Fuck Alastor..." his tears ran down his cheeks. He knelt down in front of the brunette, his legs buckling from beneath him as he shook. "Yes" she grabbed the mans shirt pulling him into a deep and loving kiss.
