It has been about two weeks since college started. Everything was going smoothly. We made new friends and got in touch with some seniors as well.
In this much time I got to know about the popularity of The Risers. That Ansh Singhania has been the hot topic in my life. His name is on everyone's lips. Rukku and Sristi are no exception. Rukku can't help but talk about his charms 24/7 and Sristi on the other hand is shipping him with me.
I used to get severe side-eyes from girls in the initial days after the welcoming programme. People I tried talking to would ask me, "Aren't you the one Ansh winked at?". There were many people recording him so, ofcourse they got it on camera. Some of my new friends would say, "I noticed him on stage. He was constantly looking at Tara". Thankfully, everyone soon forgot about it and everything is going quite normal.
I hoped that I never saw him again but being in the same campus, it is not possible. He keeps loitering around, either buttering the professors or romancing with his girlfriend, Divya. I instantly cringed as I remembered when I saw them walking around, with her snuggling onto his arm a few days ago.
Right now I and Rukku were standing outside her classroom as she had some doubts to be cleared from Ms. D'Cruz, the jolly literature professor. I silently stood behind Ms. D'Cruz, while Rukmini talked to her.
Suddenly, I saw that Jerk coming towards us. He wore a grey sleeveless hoodie, blue denims and headphones around his neck. He walked confidently with a hand in the pocket of his pants and the other one gripping the strap of his black backpack on his left shoulder, whistling a familiar tone of some Bollywood song.
His steps stopped right infront of us. His eyes squinted as he smiled widely and greeted Ms. D'Cruz, "Oh, good morning Ms. D'Cruz".
Ms. D'Cruz returned the smile and said, "Oh my god, Ansh? What a pleasant surprise! Good morning".
He looked at me over her shoulders and said, "You look gorgeous today". My eyes narrowed. "Red suits you!", he continued, diverting his gaze from me to Ms. D'Cruz's red coat.
