I woke up drenched in sweat, visions of my soulmate still haunting me. No face, just a feeling. I shook off the unease and started my morning routine. The birds' sweet melodies soothed my mind as I got ready for the day.

A warm bath, scented oils, and calming music eased my tension. I felt my muscles relax, my mind unwind. Afterward, I dressed in comfy clothes, tied up my hair, and spritzed on some cologne.

Downstairs, my family was already gathered for breakfast. My parents exchanged loving glances, while Stacey and Quinton bickered about whose car was faster. Grandma, exasperated, dared them to speak out of turn, silencing them with a stern look.

I greeted everyone, and they returned the warmth. We sat down to a delicious meal, savoring the food and each other's company. As we finished up, I felt a sense of peace wash over me, the morning's unease forgotten.
