As I retreated to my room to grab my bag, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and couldn't help but admire my reflection. I mean, who wouldn't? I was looking sharp! After giving everyone a goodbye hug (Stacey and Quinton had already made their escape), I hit the road, cruising to campus with a grin on my face.

But then, my mind started replaying the drama that went down at the food stall with Jessy and Amber.

Flash back**(Back at the food stall)

I chuckled to myself, thinking, "Oh, Jessy thinks she can scare me off? Please, I'm not that easy to get rid of!" And let's be real, it's not even Jessy I'm interested in - it's her friend who's got my attention.

As for Amber, she's got another thing coming if she thinks calling me "chicken" is going to get under my skin. I mean, have you seen my gorgeous face? I'm no chicken, folks!
I brought me and Stacey something to eat , I headed to where we were sitting to get us some grub. I found her giggling away on her phone, and I just had to ask, "What's got you blushing like a tomato?" She replied, "My boyfriend," with a sly smile. "Some of us have people who love us, get it? I'm not stuck up like you."

Ouch, burn! I clutched my chest dramatically, making a sad face. "Not you again, Stacey!" She just laughed and texted her boyfriend some more, still grinning from ear to ear. I filled her in on the drama with Jessy, and she couldn't believe it. "Can you believe she called me chicken? The whole me? I mean, have you seen how sexy I am?"She stared at me, then burst into laughter, tears streaming down her face. I pretended to be mad, "Mxm, you annoying!" "Ok, ok, I'm so sorry!' she said, still chuckling. 'It's just that she's so funny, omg I like her already! "I've never heard you complain about a girl before - she really got you with your balls!" (Or lack thereof, haha).
' She laughed again, and I joked, 'Fuck you!' She stopped laughing, said 'Sorry, chicken,' then laughed again. I chased her, she tripped, fell, and I laughed so hard she cried. Yeah, Stacey's a cry baby!

I laughed while offering her a hand, but she pushed it away, got up herself, and looked embarrassed. I teased her, 'Ooh look who's laughing now?' She muttered, 'F*_k you,' and I replied, 'F_*k you too,' still laughing. We ended up bailing on our plans because Stacey was "no longer in the mood".

End of flashback.***
