MY HEART, CHAOS

My heart, a maelstrom, a whirlpool of pain,
A vortex of emotions, in turmoil and strain.
A battlefield of feelings, where love and sorrow clash,
A war that rages on, with no end, no pause, no dash.

The waves of grief crash hard, like a stormy sea,
Drowning me in tears, lost at sea, unable to be free.
The winds of anxiety howl, like a hurricane's roar,
Leaving me shaken, fragile, and weak on the floor.

The fires of passion burn, like a wildfire's blaze,
Consuming all in their path, leaving ashes and haze.
The earthquakes of doubt shake, like a tremor's mighty force,
Leaving me shaken, lost, and searching for a steady course.

In this heart of chaos, I search for a guiding light,
A beacon to lead me through, the darkest of nights.
A gentle breeze of hope, to soothe the savage breast,
A calm in the tempest, a peace that's long been repressed.

But still the chaos rages, like a beast untamed,
A force that's hard to harness, a power that's hard to reclaim.
Yet in the eye of the storm, a stillness I find,
A quiet that whispers peace, a love that's left behind.

A love that's strong and steadfast, a love that's true and kind,
A love that calms the chaos, and soothes the heart and mind.
A love that's the anchor, that holds me fast and strong,
A love that's the haven, where my heart can belong.
